"Transhumanism" is an infantile fantasy circle jerk. In these threads no science is discussed. Edgy drivel along the lines of "we all gonna be robots", "what if robots have emotions?" or "will the future bring us fascism?" are not /sci/ topics. You have /b/, /pol/, /r9k/ for such nonsense. I won't even start going into detail regarding the weird furry/pony transformation ideas being discussed under the label of "transhumanism".

I am well aware that there are scientific advances towards the so called "human enhancement". If you want to discuss these, then post actual scientific results of biomedical engineering etc. Do not mistake highschoolers' fantasies for science. To avoid confusion, I'd suggest to completely avoid the term "transhumanism" when you want to discuss scientific topics. Label them by the names of the fields of research instead.

Btw I found the thread OP is referring to. It started with nothing but "transhumanism general" and was a circle jerk about south korean politics. No science or math content in there.
