Remember when /q/ were good?Just kidding, but is there a reason not to remove the need for 'noko' in your e-mail field?
>>>/b/416729161>Please moot, remove the dumb noko requirement. There is no point in going back to index by default after posting.>you're right, actually
it's faster to shitpost across multiple threads this way. you only need to make one shitpost per thread, then you can go right back to searching for the next thread. i like it better this way.
>>2056No.
It dawned on me the other night just how pointless the opt-in noko feature is too. I can't think of a single reason why people would want to be redirected to the board each time they post. It really just feels like a way to punish and ostracized new members. Why isn't noko default, mooty?
>>2056What you talking 'bout, Willis?
>>2168>It really just feels like a way to punish and ostracized new members.I don't think that's really a bad thing, personally.
>>2774I'm not surprised. It's in the 4chan culture to hate new members, particularly /b/, but I don't think it should be a deciding factor in the development of the site.
>>2824Being a regular /a/ lurker I can tell you it's just as bad, if not worse, there than on /b/.
Why don't you guys just get 4chan X and never have to deal with it?
As long as we're discussing /q/, please up the post timer to what it used to be again.Maybe people will actually put thought into their posts.
>>2883If something on the actual site is kinda pointless or strange, we shouldn't have to use an extension just because that fixes it.But I don't mind noko. It feels like everybody who comes on 4chan should experience learning that you have to put noko in the email field for themselves.
>>2883Maybe not everyone likes 4chan X, nor have a browser that supports it.And you might as well just say 'why not just put noko in the e-mail field and never worry about it again'.
>>2908>Welcome, enjoy the 4Chan experience.Sorry, but I lol'd a little, thinking of it as a advertisement campaign
>>2952That's fine, I hope you know you took my words out of context though.
>>2969I know, I just started imagining it on my own, and yeah I get what you mean, but I still think it's completely unnecessary.
>>2995I mean it's not like I feel that the quality of posting/being on here would decrease if it was gotten rid of but it's just something unique to the site that I find cool.
>>1997Since moot and friends are actually coding things now, I heartily support this idea.
