Much of 4chan rips on bronies, even for something as benign as a screenshot with a pony somewhere in their wallpaper behind the window being captured, or a dancing pony gif in the mod's crappy stickied dance thread that lasts 3 days to a week. Despite this, little is done about raids on /mlp/ where bronies are actually following the rules. Over time, as /mlp/ becomes a shithole through no fault of ponyfags, I believe many disgruntled bronies will take refuge/revenge in other boards (especially when these boards are specifically named by the troll). I assume you aren't keeping to the "quarantine" mindset everyone talks about of using /mlp/ as the go-to-rip-on-ponyfag-but-only-look-at-ponies-when-trolling board, in part because the disgruntled ban-evading bronies who got fed up with their "special place" would become increasingly hard to contain. What steps are you and the rest of the staff taking to ensure that the rules being upheld more consistently and constantly in all the boards doesn't cause a mass exile and loss of interest in 4chan.

A lot of the appeal of the imageboard has been the loose and relaxed atmosphere. We have already reached shitpost singularity and the efforts to keep it under control are appreciated, but what will you do so that things don't go too far?

/x/ is the paranormal board "for all your creepy images and stories" but I feel like that definition is lacking.

I would like to see /x/ renamed simply "para" for paranormal, parapsychology, etc.

I firmly believe /x/ has always been sort of a catch all board for a variety of fringe topics (paranormal, aliens, parapsychology, reality theory/discussion, consciousness/spiritual discussion, et al.)

The proof is in the pudding. Almost every time a topic of this nature comes up on /b/ the poser is quickly advised to check out /x/.

Why is the community not allowed to know the mod? You said that board communities seem to blame the mods for everything but it would be nice to have some idea of what they do. Why is it that the users of this site have to come straight to you when there's a problem, as opposed to the board appointed mod?

I bring this up because the style in which you're doing things has began to feel more impersonal than it has in the past. Two things:

1) Could you maybe manage the thread and start new ones periodically? The one you did last time on /b/ reached nearly 3000 posts and made my browser really stutter when it tried to update.

2) I just wanted to say I appreciate the improvements to /v/ since /q/ started. It still has a long way to go, but it really seems like there have been moderation improvements. Off-topic threads seem to get killed more quickly. Dear Mootykins,

Today I logged into my 5chan gold+ account and directed myself to the /b/ board of some infamy. My interest was piqued when I noticed a stickied, locked, mod thread bitching about the usual cancer in the /b/ forum.

"Great," I thought to myself "Some more moderations for t3h /b/ coolio."

After about 5 minutes of browsing I realized I had misplaced my hopes for a better tomorrow.

It seems like the mods have personal raging boners against certain subjects and would like to try to rape them into nothingness. While posts that actually break the rules are left alone even after being reported.

If reelected what plans do you have to quell these overzealous /b/ mods raging hardons? Please be specific.

Very rarely, but yes, pretty much every moderator in the past few years has come from the janitor pool. Contrary to what people want to believe, moderators are not my personal friends, although I have become close with a handful over the years, they've all come from 4chan.

Moot, let's talk about tripcodes. Do you believe that tripcodes should ever be used as a consistent identity, across threads and even across boards? Or is it like avatars, they should not be used period. Because there are some legitimate tripfags (galvanicAutogenator comes to mind), but most simply use it to shitpost.

If someone is using a tripcode for no observable reason (not OP doing a storytime, nor acting as an expert a la gA), should they be reported? And for what violation?

Also, what is the proper board for rule 34 of western characters? /h/ doesn't want em, so that pretty much leaves /b/... which has its own problems.
