Quick question why is the Accel spam back on /a/? Also didn't mods/moot find a way to get rid of him?
>>

This is fucking stupid.
Can mods do something about this?
>>
Proposition:
/q/ should be open only when moderators or admins are around
>>
>>119173
>>119181
I just came here to report the same thing.

I would also like some answers.
>>
>>119181
How did they combat him last time? Was it the thing with 4chanX only keeping captcha for five minutes or what?
>>
Change /q/ to /q/&/a/.
>>
>>119173
>Making new threads and calling it accel spam

Bitch please.

>>119189
No you don't. You just bandwagon the trolling faggot. Stop being stupid please and leave /a/ alone /q/.
>>
>>119192
I think they banned China proxies ips and shit
>>
>>119192
Touma released the script.
>>
I certainly hope the newfag shitheads who commended him for his faggotry now take a good look at what kind of faggot he is.
>>
Pretty annoying that it's back.

I'm reporting as fast as I can, but that's all I can do.
>>
>>119201
I'm fairly certain 4chan is banned in China, so a Chinese proxy wouldn't be of much use, unless you used a proxy for your proxy.
>>
Goddammit Accelfag.

At least use loli to spam. Do my dick a favor.
>>
People begged accel to come back and save them from the naruto threads. Look how much better he is! I hope you're all enjoying.

See you faggots in one month.

Also mods didn't got "rid" of him. Someone had the idea of opening a thread and linking to each of his spam. A mod entered there and started banning every linked post. We were faster than he could spam.
>>
>>119215
He actually did a good job putting those Naruto spam threads to bump/image limit, since the mods (at the time) didn't do jackshit about it.

Now he's doing this for no reason.
>>
>>119173
/a/ asked for his return to destroy /v/ermin and /narutards/
>>
>>119221
Reporting does nothing, he kills his own threads via pruning faster than they are deleted.

He also has too many IPs to ban.
>>
/a/ deserves it

/mu/, /v/, /vg/ need the same treatment
>>
>>119227
The last time I did that my thread got deleted instead of the spam.
>>
>>119228
Spam is always faggotry. No matter whether it's Naruto or pictures of Accelerator. Anyone can do it, it doesn't take any kinds of special skills. The faggot who's Naruto thread you've spammed today may spam your quality thread tomorrow. If the community commends spamming it basically gives up on having normal conversations since anyone has the right to spam whatever he dislikes, and since everyone dislikes something, pretty much everything gets spammed.

Spammers aren't cool vigilantes, and certainly not the heroes /a/ deserves. They're underageb& faggots who spam whatever they dislike and what gets people mad. They like attention, whether it's positive attention due to taking care of some shit you hate, or negative attention due to spamming something you like.

I certainly hope mods continue their no-tolerance policy towards spam endorsement.
>>

>>119236
You can have him.
>>
>>119230
/a/ didn't ask for anything. A bunch of underageb& shitheads who probably were new and trying to fit in asked for it. Anyone reasonable would remember what Accelspam was like (or gokuspam, wikispam, gorespam, ... for that matter).
>>
>>119221
Pretenders mostly. They just the same lump of people who want to spam /a/ thanks to /q/ because, /q/ gives them an outlet to give notice to troll/spam /a/. Just like this thread.

The other complain about /a/ threads dropped off earlier now they are back to make more.

Good job /q/ on being terrible and unneeded.
>>
Maybe it's an annual thing, it's been about a year since it last happened right?
>>
Anyone try going on the IRC to see if any mods are around?
>>
I was wondering what happened to him. Did he actually get banned before or just get bored and quit?

Moot, please hurry up and open those janitor applications! We really need extra manpower now.
>>
>>119255

I'm banned from the IRC do to bitching at the mods doing nothing.

Good luck though.
>>
>>119263
Only cocksuckers are allowed on #4chan. Seriously, it's fucking useless.
>>
>>119230

>>>/a/70332343
>The majority of the latest narutospam was by IRCcrew.

>Okay here's the official list of the IRC crew:

Leader: heartaches aka Abigail Tran aka Tainaka Ritsu aka the original IS spammer. You can follow her @abbytran.tumblr.com

>Co-Leaders: Coal, Nagi, Scyro, socks, agri, Mic, Chris, Feety, dinosaur, KoG, yutanpo

>Capos: Tokiko, Saru Lock, MmEw, Park Ranger, Justice, Flapjack, Lelouch, Destrado, shirt, JamesCID

>Soldiers: Too many to name

>We're at war with Suigin, Hayate,Komeiji, Deepfag aka Currybutt, Taiga, Smoked Cheese and their little circle.

>We're allies with Sudo and the /jp/ crew.

>All your favorite anime that get trolled/reverse trolled/spam is from us. >Love us or hate us but also respect us.

>We plan on epic trolling Hidamari and Jojo next season, feel free to join le fun xD
>>
>>119236
I am thinking about a better script than the one accell is using, it would use neural network to learn captcha faster and auto proxy search and selection, it would be final solution for /a/ problems, /a/ would be the first newfag and /v/ermin free board
>>
mods on vacations still
>>
>>119261

I would enjoy being a janitor for /a/ or /tg/. I hardly do anything with my time as is except hit refresh on the catalog.
>>
>>119287
>learn captcha faster

I hope you're not implying that Accel script solves its own captcha. He types thousands of those.
>>
>>119290
Same, I am literally on all day.
>>
I'd take accelspammer over the /q/fags that spam naruto threads any day.
>>
>>119261
>>119296
>>119290

I wouldn't even do anything with my Janitor powers besides delete spam and blatantly off-topic posts like "TFW NO GF". Don't want to control /a/, just get rid of the spam.
>>
If accelspammer wanted to be effective he should spam the board with on-topic threads with a variety of images so that the mods would be unable to tell legitimate threads from non legitimate threads while at the same time killing discussion since the spamming of threads bumps other threads off the board.
>>
>>119311

The vast majority is shitposting though. Very rarely does shitposting derail into awesome. Take Blue and the Scraplootas for instance. That was a shitpost that derailed into awesome.
>>
File: 1345420692819.jpg-(17 KB, 210x118, hiyori-tamura-114930.jpg)
17 KB
Although Accel spam is quite annoying, the Naruto spam was worse.
>>
>>119301
Fun Fact: /a/ is 80% better after accelspam returned
>>
>>119324
They're both bad and shouldn't be posted.
Theres no lesser of two evils here.
>>
>>119311
I think that is the idea situation for a Janitor. Your job isn't to enforce any policy, it is only to deal with legitimately off topic posts, trolling, and shitposting. Nothing else.
>>
So the Accel spam is still here. Where are the mods?

Willing to bet if Accel were to spam /soc/ Moot or some other mods would take top priority and delete it in a heartbead.
>>
>>119230
A few idiots, perhaps.

I never asked for this. Accel is just as bad as Naruto and /q/.
>>
>>119344
Mods have been deleting. Did you not notice when there were less than 10 pages on /a/. It's just that he keeps spamming.
>>
>>119274
No wonder /a/ has been shit these past few months.

It seems like the cancer/shitposting will never end.
>>
>>119274
>We plan on epic trolling Hidamari and Jojo next season
But why? Just for kicks? Because they hate /a/?
>>
>>119357

Will we actually watch anime now while the board is overrun with faggotry or will we bitch on /q/? I'm all for continuing to bitch on /q/ myself.
>>
>>119357

Then we should, I guess I mean 'the Mods should', focus on banning the trolls as top priority.

Accel-kun returned because spam was being permitted and in some cases encouraged. (Yeah, the nuturu situation).
>>
It seems that some of it's been deleted

>>119366
Because autism. Really, we need mods for this thing
>>
>>119366
Some people just want to watch the world burn.
Mind you, after /a/ is completely deformed by their shitposting the other boards will probably be next.
>>
>>119376
Oh the irony. Bitching to /q/ is just playing into their hands. That is what they want.
>>
>>119381
If /a/ is ruined then my social life is ruined. I really hope this doesn't go on too long.
>>
>>119381
Honestly the effect they have on /a/ is minimal at best. Most everyone can see straight through it,
>>
Why can't Moot lock /a/ for a few hours so they can delete the spam and it'll wear off? Oh and maybe autoban some of the images he's using since he's using the same ones
>>
>>119397
>social life
>>
>>119406
Moot should delete /b/ instead.
>>
Can anyone create a new "link accelspam posts"? Mine was having all of the posts deleted but it seems that the janitor misfired it.
>>
>>119395

Seems that way.

>>119397

He spammed roughly seven months last year.

Also,
>social life
>>
>>119413
>delete /b/
>shitposting 12 year olds invade the rest of the site
Try again
>>
Thank you /q/, you have revived accel.
With love, /a/.
>>
Good. The sooner /a/ dies the better. I say this as someone who has posted for 6 years.
>>
Id rather have the naruto spam back. I hardly even noticed it and only autists payed it any attention.
>>
>>119406
>lock /a/ for a few hours
>>119427
>sooner /a/ is gone the better

Hahahah. That's funny. You two are hilarious.
>>
I'm an optimist, so I choose to believe that in his own twisted mentality, Accel is doing this for the board's good, by trying to scare off the influx of faggots that joined the board in the recent past.
>>
>>119427

/a/ is not going to die because of this. We had Accel do the same thing months ago, and this spam he's doing right now is nothing compared to that.
>>
The Mods will take care of it in the mean time he can show those shitposters what /a/ is truly afraid of and that no matter what they do they can never get on his level.
>>
>>119422

It happened with PUDDIPUDDIPUDDI.

Most of the refugees went to /x/ though.
>>
>>119434
He could do a better job of that if he only posted loli.
>>
>>119427
HHAHAHAH this time accellspam is very easy compared with the old one
>>
>>119436
I fail to see how this is scaring off anyone, as threads are still up with discussion going on. This is not a huge thing that is crippling /a/.
>>
Getting rid of a professional spammer?
Sure.
Turn off the board.
That's the only way.

Ban him? Ok, do that.
He has another proxy.
Ban that one too? Fine, he has another one.
He has been banned over and over and over and over and over and over and and over and over.
And he has implemented a new proxy every time within minutes.
It's pointless.
Mods can't do anything, moot can't do anything.
Just report the spam and let the janitors clean it, that's it.

Regarding the IRC troll squad, they like to show off like famous criminals, they even announce which shows they'll troll.
The smartest thing the staff could do is keep an eye on them, if they are going to troll The Price is Right: The anime moegar edition then except reverse trolls for it and a certain type of thread that will become the standard troll template.
This is the thread they will spam many times.
Identify these templates so different janitors unfamiliar with them will be able to easily tell a reverse troll from a true thread apart and just deal with them, tell the community to be smart about it.

You people overreact.
>>
>>119446
Was sure that I meant to link to >>119434
>>
>>119450
I have yet to see any evidence of this IRC troll squad apart from ramblings made by an anonymous person.
>>
Maybe the spam will make moot put out janitor apps sooner
>>
So this shit is organized?
>>
>>119450
I like you so are you saying we just ignore them could be cool.

>>119455
Just look at the trolls for certain threads it is usually the same obvious thing posted at different times throughout the day to get people who aren't prepared for it.
>>
>>119442
>>119435
Spoiler alert: Its not even Accelerator. Its the idiots who have a script that are messing around with /a/ so people respond to /q/ about it while they please themselves with response it gets. Its quite simple logic of attention whores or children.

That's some funny shit, anon.
>>
>>119446
Well last time, after half a year of spamming only those who actually cared about /a/ were still there, which left us with a decent week of quality posting in early January. It really isn't worth it.
>>
Anyone else's catalog graying out the spam? Kinda neat
>>
>>119466
And how is that in any way related to the workings of an organized group?

It could be one person doing it or a disorganized bunch.

That holds as much weight as the little IRC theory.
>>
>>119477
Mine is, it gets most of it but a few are ungrayed.

Did the catalog break for anyone else?

>>119474
THe only reason that beautiful period ended was because of KS being released and even then /a/ was really good until Summer. Granted I have a theory of decent anime season=better /a/. Regardless of your opinions /a/ in winter had really enjoyable threads.
>>
>>119477
whoa, mine is doing the same.

>>119477

I think they should add option that lowers all them to bottom.

And this is why the idea of janitors is fucking stupid.

Whoever came up with it obviously did not intend the idea to be for large boards.

At least janitors should be able to silence users for up to an hour. But like this, it is useless.

>>119557

>>119253
We've had major waves of spam every summer for a few years now. It always starts in the summer.

>>119261
They banned shitloads of his proxies, changed a few things that broke his script and made spamming more tedious, and he became bored and too busy to keep it up after a while. It was a combination of many small factors adding up to exhaust him. Now he's refreshed after taking a break, and the naruto spam made him think "I'll show those faggots what a REAL spammer looks like. Look how powerful I am"

>>119366
They do it because they're dickheads who want to be dickheads, and they pick /a/ because /a/ is both fast and relatively challenging. They do harrass the fuck out of other boards like /v/, but trolling /v/ is too easy to warrant coordination. They can just make a thread with Neptunia and watch the shitstorm. They ignore the smaller, slower boards because they want a large audience and real time reactions.
>>
>>119574
>>119582

>>
>>119567
The noscript version of captcha loads an iframe with a Google page in it, you solve the captcha in that frame and it gives you a code to paste in a box in the posting form.
At this stage the captcha has already been solved and the code is just a verification of a solved captcha. The program stores these codes and then sends them in the form when spamming.

They expire after about 5 minutes now, so it's a matter of how many you can solve in about 4 minutes then start the spamming and solving at the same time.

Frankly, just block the submits that use the noscript form, fuck people who don't allow javascript for 4chan/captcha.

I wish they could set the board to slow mode. That is, every IP can only make a thread 10 minutes at a time, or some shit like that.

Why hasn't this been done anyways. If you need to make new threads every couple of minutes then you are obviously spamming.

Moot is a fucking tard for not realizing this.

Janitors delete shit.
What's the biggest problem on 4chan?
Shit.
What gets rid of it? Deleting it.
It's the most viable method to keep order available.
A janitor that could silence is just a minor mod, and mods can be more dangerous than any troll.
Browse /q/ and look for the many /k/ threads complaining about a troll mod that bans people randomly, posts dumb shit to troll and stickies random threads and makes the board his personal god simulator game.

Not even Accel is that stupid.

The most retarded part of it is that the reason for Accels spam was the protest the lack of moderation /a/ got. Currently moderation levels on /a/ are at an all time high, and here he is spamming again.
Just goes to show that no matter how "just" your reason for purposefully being a faggot is eventually you will just turn into a faggot.

Are you implying it's challenging to troll /a/? Because that's not even close to being true.

Spam is never justified though. There is no such good thing as "good spam" or "user moderation". There is only bad spam.
>>

Nay. From the ashes, /a/ will... rise.
>>

Accell has literally hundreds of proxies at his command to avoid things of that nature.

Guys, guys. Do you really need to make a thread about this? The mods probably already know about the spam plaguing /a/, so really, what does making a thread bitching about it on /q/ solve?

Only relatively challenging. /a/ is more resistant than the other very large and fast boards on 4chan. Any idiot can troll any fast board on 4chan because it's a fast board on 4chan, but they don't all react the same way.

/a/ deserves this shit for their worship of spam. they got what they wanted when accel-spam spammed narutu thread. now its just overflowing to board itself. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. And its all thanks to the butthurt nurutu haters/fans making a big fuss out of all of this.
>>

>>
>>119722
/a/ isn't one person. Yes, we have our fair share of retards, but not everyone on /a/ worships spam.
>>
Colorspam and accelspam seem to be two different bots right now.
Color is extracting posts from /a/ or /v/ while the the accel is using posts from /b/.
>>
>>119696
I am not sure how long the lists he get are, but there is no upper limit. He could literally have a list of tens of thousands of proxies.

There are that many and they are that easy to find.

>>119705
This is a problem that doesn't only affect /a/ but all of 4chan, that is what this board is for.

>>119711
Problem isn't more but more active, a lot of janitors stop working after a short time and good mods are hard to find, and it all must be done in spare time.

If anyone has the LATEST version of delayclose I want to see if they fixed the vulnerability it has that I have known about from the first release and have emailed moot about twice.
>>
>>119705
You might be right, but you have to think about how many users on /a/ are now displaced from their home. All those people need somewhere to go so to speak, and the obvious place is to complain on /q/. Especially considering the purpose of this board to begin with. There will be many more threads after this one on /q/.
>>

The original guy that programmed the script was a /v/ermin. /v/ moved too fast, so he decided to splerg all over /a/.

He then gave out the script to one of his AIM buddies and he also gave the script to another programmer.

The AIM buddy became accelspammer. The other programmer became the Toumaspammer.

Toumaspammer stopped, accel continued for 7 straight months.
>>
>>119722
We didn't worship spam. Spam is shit no matter who does it. Good reasons or bad reasons its against the rules and gets deleted just the same. Narutospammer just brought out the other spammers through /q/ and filtered it directly at /a/.

Cascading problems one after the other to make some kind of sweeping difference or reaction to it for their own personal gain or attention getting.

One has a mistake in the image filename generation where a variable is wrapped in the wrong quotes and so isn't parsed, making it easy to filter, another uses a pattern and some random text to spam 20 lines or so of text into a thread, but is easy to filter.

Then there is the color boxes and accelspam, which seems to be the Christmas version aka the last version Touma released. I don't know how it was originally blocked, if it was somehow accidentally unblocked or if someone hacked it into working again.

Touma said that he told moot how to block it in the end. But the version that he released at that time, the Christmas one, still had my vulnerability in it so I don't know.

I never got a reply from moot when I made my suggestions on how to block delayclose so I have no idea if my idea was actually viable or not, but in theory it should have been.

The main suggestion I have right now is to just block posts made with the noscript captcha. They are easily identified in the form data because it sends manual_challenge in the recaptcha_response_field.
Even if there is no specific handler for this in the recaptcha handling code on the server it could be easily placed in to check for and block those posts.

You can blame /g/.

Someone was modifying the original delayclose to spam desktop threads, then someone on /g/ gave him the christmas release and he fixed it up then decided it would be funny to spam /a/ with it. Imitation is NOT the sincerest form of flattery as far as accel is concerned, so he came back to show the imitator how it is done.

Well there are two ways to deal with it.

Either moot hires an army of janitors to delete it all, and an elite team of mods that will ban every proxy on earth.

Or we learn to ignore it, yes, all 120 threads of super spam.
Then the spammers will get bored and leave for a different board.

>>
>>119974
He was not properly ignored.
We have to ignore him with our heart.
>>
>>119974
I think you are right in at least 6.

Most of /a/ knows what we have to put up with, and we can put up with it, actively discussed threads keep bumped so it's mostly shit that gets pushed off. If he spams a thread then people just make new ones.

Part of the problem is the new members who haven't suffered yet and part is >>119978 this, the faggot worshipers who think he has actually done anything to improve the board.

And no, day of the loli spam didn't save /a/, it just caused something that would have happened anyway to happen faster. If anything all it did was pump Accels dick harder because some faggots actually praised him afterward.
>>
>>119960
Overall you are right. But the problem is the frequency of the appearing spam-threads. Every single normal thread goes 404 unless there are anons posting every few minutes in it atleast. And the second problem is that this kind of spammer doesn't really seem to care about how much attention we pay to him. It's some autistic mass posting without a specific reason other than the absence of any other hobbies or occupations.
I agree that there isn't much we can do now though.
>>
>>119978

How does one ignore harder?
IGNORE HIM!
>>
>>119993
I think the TTL of a thread that isn't getting bumped while Accel is spamming (and mods/janitors aren't working) is about 20 minutes currently, 30 minutes when /a/ was 16 pages.

Of course, when there are two spammers going it cuts the time significantly, but giving us back 16 pages would give us a bit of a buffer as well.

>>119933
>The problem arises when there's 120 spam threads at once. But yeah, if we ignore it it'll all go away right?

If you truly ignore it, then yes. Also, 120 spam threads would be useless against sticky threads.
All threads with actual discussion would just need a sticky. Just a suggestion, of course.

>>119955

>Same could be said for every single problem on 4chan, and by that logic every thread on /q/ is useless other than the sticky moot made at the start.

/q/ is useful even in that way. We can still talk about how to make a board better and general stuff.

>>120037
People ARE fighting back. Just refreshed the first page several times and I can see legitimate threads floating among the spam.
>>
>>120037
That's basically how all threads that remain alive during spam currently survive already. Remember it takes about
20 minutes for an unbumped thread to fall off the board due to Accels spam when it is him alone (as is currently the case).

If he really hates a thread he will launch another instance and spam a thread directly as well as the board. Which is probably what he will do if everyone dons the Rei tripcode, spam as both Rei and Anon.

It looked to me, at its peak, the threads were getting deleted within 30~60 seconds of creation.
>>
>>120068
Accel only came back because he saw the Mods/Janitors weren't doing shit about Naruto spam.

It's less that people asked him to help, and it's more that it indicated Mods and Janitors weren't able to handle low level Naruto spam, which means he'd have free reign if he came back.

The Naruto Spam and inefficiency of the staff was like blood in the water.
>>
Looking at the catalog, it seems like things have calmed down for the moment.
>>
>>120075
But that is bullshit. Mods were dealing with it as it was reported. If people KEEP posting it even after mods are deleting/banning then instigating more spam isn't going to solve anything.

That is just a terrible excuse.
>>
>>120076
It seems like Toonami is also filtered as spam on the catalog. Awesome
>>
>>120075
Accell came and made his point. Naruto threads will never belong on /a/.

Thank you dark knight, you are our savoir.
>>
>>120078
The people who reported it were getting banned.
>>
>>120082
Really? I never was.
>>
>>120082
Some were getting banned for mass reporting threads posted on /q/. I was never banned for reporting spam though.
>>
>>120075
So you know Accel spam's intention? Are you the spammer?
>>
I kinda wish he'd spam a load of the shit threads on /q/
>>
>>120081
>Thank you dark knight, you are our savoir.

>>
>>120081
Accelerator: Chaotic Good, Neutral, or Evil?
We might never know.
>>
>>120081
Naruto has always been allowed on /a/, there were a few occurrences of people banned for liking Naruto but they were just joke bans. It has never been against board rules.

moot didn't change anything, he said that on topic/non-troll Naruto threads are fine and then the extreme butthurt faggot haters started spamming troll Naruto threads to try and get moot to change policy.
>>
Whoa, it stopped.
>>
>>120075
>Accel only came back because he saw the Mods/Janitors weren't doing shit about Naruto spam.

More like not doing shit about the shitting up of /a/ with trolling posts, followed by copypasta/doubles/loli/gore spam.

If you think that the people who started all of the shitposting aren't the same ones who are now doing the Accelspam, you're living in a fucking fantasy world.
>>
>>120096
More like mods deleted about six pages worth of accelspam posts.
>>
>>120093
>joke bans
Moderators and admins can't do 'joke bans' off of /b/.
>>
>>120102

Just like regular users can't shitpost and troll outside of /b/.
Doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
>>
>>120102
Yes they can. Last season of Breaking Bad there was a thread about an episode right after it aired. I posted saying "Shovel-cam was fucking stupid" and the mod added "(USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)" on my post.
>>
>>120102
Sure they can, if the give someone a warning it can still show up as (User was banned for this post) in the post while not actually issuing a ban.

They can also ban someone and then remove it afterward.

They can also just give a minimal ban of a day or something. Which is pretty minor considering I got a month long ban for calling a mod a faggot once. I was right though too.
>>
>>120107
For warnings they usually give you (USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST)
>>
>>120075

/h/ mods are really strict, you can't post NFSW images on /a/ so you have to go to /h/ (or /d/) which means you have to dump several pictures. It's a bit silly, they should just make /a/ a NSFW board.
>>
>>120130
>they should just make /a/ a NSFW board.
Definitely not. /a/ isn't for NSFW content, it's for anime discussion. Mods are pretty lenient with NSFW anyway and it works better that way than making the board entirely NSFW.
>>
>>>/m/8125054
>HURR MOOT SAID I COULD POST HERE.

>>

This. How will I browse /a/ in public otherwise?

>implying I don't sit in places where my tablet isn't visible to anyone except me from any angle
>>
>>120136
>>120150
But why would you browse /a/ in public in the first place?

The point is that there is no ideal situation if you just want to post 1-2 NSFW images. I got banned a week from all boards for posting 1 image that related to the topic.
>>
>>120157
Was joking, I only browse /a/ in public if my screen is guaranteed to not be visible to anyone. That situation doesn't happen often.
>>
>>120150
>>120159
people from /a/ actually go outside their houses?
>>
>>119598
Bullshit. I've been accused of being a part of the "IRC crew" simply because people didn't agree with me.

Hell, I remember making a thread that someone deemed as an "IRC crew" troll and he decided to fabricate a bit of text as if it were said in IRC by mmew or whatever his name is, referring to my thread.

Autistic paranoia. That's all it is.
>>
>>120171

Or maybe you should stop shitposting.
>>
>>120171
I guess you're too new to not know about them then.
>>
>>120174

>>
>>120130
/a/ is, in practice, NSFW, but not officially

If /a/ ACTUALLY because a MSFW board, then hentai would be spammed all day in every thread about any show, especially any show with high school girls in it. And the mods wouldn't be able to do anything because it wouldn't be against the rules.

Making /a/ NSFW basically means making /a/ a place where discussion or even civil image dumps are impossible

Accel-spammer uses a script to make each one of his spam posts a different IP from a VERY large pool of random IP addresses. Could be a VPN, could be something entirely else.

He also fills out each captcha individually for each one. It's a lot like 4chan X's captcha thing, except because each post is under a different IP, there is no wait time for him, meaning he can dump 10 or more posts all at once. Then he repeats the process again to dump more and such on.

As you can see, the only viable method of banning him is to either somehow ban his list of unknown IP addresses, which could reach into the millions, or to somehow figure out where he lives and confront him personally. The latter being nearly impossible and possibly highly illegal.

So I really hope you love harboring a sperglord like him, /a/. Because encouraging this kind of behavior when you could have simply ignored the stuff that didn't appeal to you will eventually bite you in the ass.
All it takes is him to just not like what you like.
>>
>>120127
>or to somehow figure out where he lives and confront him personally. The latter being nearly impossible and possibly highly illegal.
Set up open proxies
Monitor them for traffic to 4chan
Get them added to open proxy lists
????
Email results to moot/report to ISP
Profit!!!

The only way I can leech off my parents is if I try to get a degree.

Accel-spammer is spreading to other boards. There's a desktop thread on /g/ being spammed to hell right now with accel-spam.

Last time someone spammed all of 4chan moot implemented ReCAPTCHA. What will happen this time?

One of the guys who wrote the delayclose script, Touma, is British. I believe accel is British as well, or at least European because at his peak, he'd usually stop spamming by about 2-3am GMT and resume again at 11am or so.
>>
>>120189
... But that is exactly what he does.
How do you think he gets so many?
>>
>>120188
The captcha was implemented to stop automated spam. It fulfilled that job well.

This is semi-manual spam via autism.
>>
>>120190

>>
>>120102

>>
>>120180
But as I said I got a week ban from all the boards just for posting 1 image, it wasn't a dump and related to anime. I wouldn't have minded so much if it was a board only ban and just a day but thats a bit much don't you agree?
>>
>>120102
Not actually a ban but this thread was glorious

http://archive.foolz.us/a/thread/66694112/#66694112
>>
>>120210

Really depends on what exactly you posted, I got banned once after I edited the nipples off the image.

/a/ is not /h/ and the only way to escape people reporting is hiding then under a spoiler (unofficial practice) but still you are always taking a risk.
>>
>>120210
>>120228
What it really is is someone besides Kinomod wandering into /a/ and not understand what's going on

Probably the same mod that's been banning wrongfully for "talking about silencers" on /k/ and that whole thing with the person getting banned for posting a fully clothed image of a young girl
>>
>>120228
It was spoiled, I see a lot of hentai spoiled but don't know whether they get banned or not.

Also appealing seems to do nothing, I had to go through IRC to get unbanned at one stage and found out they didn't even give the proper reason (on /v/ not /a/ however).
>>
>>120246
>>120228
They will ban you for longer if you spoiler it. Just so you know
>>
>>120176
I rest my case.
>>
>>120235
I'm thinking this might have been what happened, either way I'm tired of getting banned for such minor things and I can't just reset my router like most people seem to be able to.

Sorry for derailing the thread.
>>
>>120256
I've heard that some mods don't mind NSFW on /a/ as long as its in moderation, while other times I've seen them go apeshit over it.

I really wish there was more consistency than just whatever side of the bed that particular mod that ventures into /a/ woke up on.
>>
>>120205
>the text appears therefore they must have been banned
>>
>>120256
It really depends on the mood of the mod. I've dumbed to image cap a shit load of trap H-mangas and never even got a warning, but other times I'm banned after a dozen images.

Alternatively, change the captcha to something tough to solve. Accel-spammer and delayclose guy are using captchatraders, or a similar service to get captchas answered. Of course, it would be a hindrance for the rest of the posters.

Or maybe ask google to ban India or something.
>>
>>120322
They aren't using services to solve captchas, they do it manually.
>>
>>119274
Jesus fucking Christ. Permaban them all.
>>
>>120324
I don't know if Accel is, delayclose dude definitely is, however. Though typing them manually is even tougher now, since recaptcha is timed now.
>>
>>120326
Honestly, they aren't that big of a problem. It's horribly obvious when they do troll, and like retards they announce it ahead of time. I can usually literally follow someone through a thread and know it's the same troll just by the stupid way they post.
>>
>>120329
I seriously doubt he built that into it. And the timer affects the solver services the same way it affects other people.
>>
I think the mods just need better software.

Here's something that would have helped tremendously.

-4chan catalog style view of all the threads on a board
-Ability to select all
-Ability to remember deselected after refresh or better yet, hide and unhide deselected
-Ability to mass ban all threads selected.

There we go. Accelspam gone.
>>
>>120332
But you get several responses at once through solver services. You just have to use the service's API, and you can get a bunch quasi-automatically resolved captchas in seconds at the exact time the script needs them.

But yeah, I guess he didn't modify the script enough to add that. Be happy that he can't spam as easily as last time.
>>
>>120337
They must already have something similar to that. They can ban a shit load of threads in a short amount of time. They were banning his threads before in or under 40 seconds of creation and yesterday they deleted at least six whole boards of spam in one hit.
>>
>>120338
No one has sunk to the level of spending money to ruin 4chan. Except Kim.
>>
>>120342
I wonder if it's only accessible to the mods. Maybe that's why the janitors had so much trouble.
>>
>>120347
It's a dollar for 1000 captchas solved, tough. Pretty cheap for spamming 4chan.
>>
>>120351
Moot has been saying they're revamping the ban system and giving the janitors a little more power, so hopefully they won't have that kind of problem anymore
>>
>>120354
But no one's doing it. It's your case to prove.
>>
>>120367
I can't prove it for accel. I know delayclose guy is, because he said so himself, you can search for captchatraders on the archive and see for yourself.
>>
>>120371
We should make this clear and say delayclose is the name of the program they are all using. It's just a matter of which version or whether they have customized it.

There's no admission of any sorts on the archive about captchatrader. Post a link or stop pretending.
