It's obvious the same person can be breaking the rules in a thread at times. If a user from the same IP gets multiple posts of theirs reported on a board, does this in anyway push their set of posts up in the queue or are they only pushed up in the queue based on the amount of reports a single post from them it gets?My guess is the latter but I just think it can be tedious reporting each post. As long as any of their rule-breaking posts by different users are getting reported, shoudn't this bring them up further to be dealt with quicker?
bumporama
I would like to know this as well.
I think if they get enough reports, they should be autob&
>>119000The report system can be abused, that's why there's a rule against abusing it.
>>119010I know the report system can be abused, but obviously the mods can tell which reports are legit or not.
>>121016There's a difference between that and setting an auto-ban when reaching a specific limit. besides, the mod would have to see the alleged post anyway to determine the ban length.
Auto-banning is a horrible idea. Then people would just carpetbomb the report button everytime someone made a post just for laughs.
>>121055>>121106I guess I was misleading with my "autob&" comment. What I really meant was that they'd be banned right away by a mod, not have it implemented automatically without being reviewed. Apologies.
