I remember going up to SouthWest Airlines ticket counter 15 minutes before a flight, paying for my ticket with cash and giving the name Hugh Jass.

I am not making that up. I used to fly with different nicknames all the time.

It was my little game. I would fly as Ben Dover, Phil McCrevice, Mike Hunt, Jack Meoff, etc

Nobody ever asked for ID.

I walked right on to my plane.

It was awesome.

Since 9-11 I have flown twice. Back and forth to my grandmother's Funeral. I vowed never to fly again until things go back the way they were. Which means I will never make my return trip to Hawaii or Australia or Europe.

Oh well. I used to fly almost every weekend to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego, etc. I loved flying and spending the weekends in different cities.

Now my weekends are basically sitting at home, playing video games, working on the house and washing and waxing my 68 Corvette Convertible.
(Who knows how much longer I will be allowed to drive that. After all it doesn't have a "black box" to tell the government how fast I am going and where I am at all times). Plus it is fun.

The court exonerated him on intent, the cables don't quite measure up to the definition if defense information (structure, plans, doctrines, etc.), and he wasn't working for a foreign government/rogue entity. Manning doesn't fit the United States' own legal definition of espionage, yet they've found him guilty on five counts.

The charge of theft of government property is silly, but sad. The government likes to forget that it and its property belong to U.S. citizens.

I just don't have the energy to give a fuck anymore. America is dead and there's nothing anybody can do to save it. A revolution won't work because 80% of the populace is brainwashed in to cock sucking the government and the other 20% are too afraid to die for what they believe in and would rather bitch on the internet.
