This entire post secondary education push did nothing but push back adulthood for our generation while also forcing most of us into terrible debt. Even STEM degrees are useless, the only way to get a job is through nepotism or networking neither of which should require sitting in classrooms for four more years after high school.

I have a degree in business management and the only job I can get is driving a forklift. I wasn't born with rich parents, all the networking I did in college led to fuck-all, and when I did my internship I was expected to work 40 hours a week for 'travel allowances' (a.k.a. bus fare). I did that job for a month then asked for a salary, and the very next day my replacement showed up, who I was supposed to train to take over for me. I knew just what the deal was, but I still smiled and kissed ass for a reference, which hasn't helped me whatsoever.

Seriously, I live in one of my state's major cities, and there are hardly any jobs here. I wore a tie to my interview, and I think I impressed the manager because his wife was from China, and I speak Chinese. I would go to China and teach English, but I've never been there before, so I'd rather visit for fun before making a commitment like that. If I don't get a job teaching Chinese locally, I might just join the military as a cryptologist and let Uncle Sam decide my fate. My parents have told me not to do it, but I can't stock shelves at Target for the rest of my life.

I don't want to get autism bux because I like guns, and I'm afraid Obongo will ban me if I have any sort of mental health record.

That's not really the case. You're expected to not get a shitty job because you are capable of doing something better. At 17 I certainly wasn't so braindead that I thought this meant I must go to college. I knew there were plenty of training programs for things like law and accountancy which don't involved university and I could have decided to be a pilot or a technician or some shit.

You cannot blame your parents and society for making you go to college. You didn't look at the many options available to you and when you just went along to college you then didn't bother to take up any more training for an actual career.
