North Korea will definitely be a pushover if Obama or whoeverthefuck is smart enough and not corrupt enough to go in and strike fucking hard. What will PROBABLY happen is, let's just say NK attacks us. Not necessarily a nuke, but an attack that shows just how much of an immediate threat they really are. Since it's an actual government, we'll go in and capture specific headquarters of their forces. These aren't just random armed chinks running around, or towelheads hiding in caves. These are military troops we'll be fighting against, so traditional military tactics should be sufficient enough. Of course, we'll probably occupy for a while and a whole lot of other shit that I really don't like.

If they successfully nuke us and kill millions (worst case scenario I say), then we need to retaliate with another nuke, even if it involves killing innocents. THAT will terminate their threat almost instantly.

But don't compare Vietnam and Iraq and Afghanistan wars with something like this. Those were very different situations.

To the people saying China is endorsing the fight, let me explain a few things.

First off, China and America; as well as most world powers that are "super powers" or just larger powers, will always FUND wars but never FIGHT them with each other. Imagine the Middle Eastern conflict and Korean conflict as a big cock-fight. We fund one side, the Chinese fund another side, but on the sidelines we are buddies watching the fights play out while we profit.

Secondly, China has already told North Korea to shut the fuck up and back down. China knows if NK launches one nuke that everyone and their brother is going to turn NK into ash. That wouldn't be good for China SO they told their bastard child - Chow More Rice - to stop being a bitch for five minutes.

It won't last just a few days, a few weeks, a month or two maybe, assuming we don't nuke their ass from the start. The problem with Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan was that we were fighting guerrillas. In this case, where we would be fighting a uniformed, formal military, the war would be over far sooner. North Korea stands no chance against the combined military might of the U.S. and its allies. Even just the U.S. could wipe them off the face of the planet in hours if we chose to utilize our nukes.

Their troops steal baby food from humanitarian airdrops.

It was over before it began. They will be pushovers, and they think they are in a league far above what they are.

There will be no insurgency, because they have no weapons or munitions in the first place, and nearly every man, woman, and child will be killed off in the first 4 months.

It is completely stupid to think the norks will ever succeed in fighting the U.S. unless they convince China to help them somehow.

China has their economic hand squeezing our economic balls, so what do we have to lose? Life? Fuck that... Since when has the U.S. ever cared about a loss of life?

Even with their 2 million man standing army, we could easily bolster ours to over 10 million, train, and equip them 10x better, in 1/10th the time.

We have nothing that can defeat our military on this earth.
Even missiles can shoot down other missiles before they even leave the country of origin.

It will be a bloodbath, but only shortlived.
