I think moot should remove the sticky about board traffic and instead put a sticky providing a link to the text of the US Constitution, as well as links to important court cases about each of the Amendments. This way Americans can read the constitution, fully understand how their government works, and realize what the intentions of the founding fathers were before they make arguments bashing the constitution and calling for more amendments/secession/tax reform/ect. /fit/ has a sticky that covers everything and lets its users have a basic background knowledge about the board's topic before posting, so why shouldn't we /pol/iticians have one too?I would be happy to compile links to the necessary articles which I believe are fundamental to an understanding of political debate and discussion about the American government. A similar thread can be provided for various European governments if board's members demand it.
>implying anyone gives a shit about the constitution>implying everyone here is Murrrkan>implying that the sticky shouldn't feature a hires of nude Adolf
I don't think that sticky will be there for very long, also there's plenty of places on the internet to read the constitution.
>>94177Yeah but some people are so lazy that they won't read it for themselves unless you put it right in front of their face. They feel like they don't have any obligation to make arguments based on the Constitution because (1) nobody else is and (2) they don't have feelings of civil responsibility that comes with an understanding of government
I agree with OP
>holocaust sticky
>US constitution not suckingHow's that living tree working for ya?
