If Israel really cared about peace, they wouldn't be so touchy and bitchy when anyone brings up the two-state solution--going so far as to lecture and berate Obama on national TV for holding this apparently unthinkable position.

If Palestine was a real state, Israel could just tell the Palestinians to fuck off to their new homeland, and have a real government to hold accountable whenever something happens. The way it is now, they have a bunch of hapless cattle corralled into corrugated steel hovels, malnourished from sanctions. packed cheek to cheek with any extremists for high collateral whenever they pull an air strike, and a just barely elected "government" of Hamas to be the scapegoat, and that's the way they like it.
