    >Rumours are sweeping Italy, and beyond, that Silvio Berlusconi might be forced to resign today.

    >The speculation, which is being reported in several Italian media outlets, has sent the country's main stock market -- the FTSE MIB -- rallying by nearly 2.5%.

    >Italian government bonds are also recovering, with the yield on the 10-year debt down to 6.567%

So have any of you gentlemen been watching CNN lately? They've been reporting on non-news for a while now, but this is seriously getting crazy.

    >Saturday Night Live parody of Kardashian divorce.
    >Occasional Herman Cain scandal news, but that's fading away.
    >OWS coverage, OWS coverage everywhere.
    >Setting up shops... on the moon... DECADES IN THE FUTURE?
    >This is the top of the news.

They don't even talk about all of the stuff coming out of Iran and Israel at all. Even internet sources are only reporting on what the Israelis said days ago. Does anyone else think that this is the media distracting us before announcing the "surprising" nuclear papers tomorrow? Was that one anon telling the truth (see next post)?

    >MFW we could actually be gearing up for war.

I love the 9/11 documentaries and all the conspiracy theory shit

Gives me a chill even though I do notice the stupid stuff.

It really does wonders in a social setting when we're really drunk and wander to those topics because I can present outrageous views with a laugh and actually argue in favor of them and guess what the chicks sometimes really dig it, me being so edgy as fuck and shit

We're not saying its secret? Who said it was secret.

We're point out odd correlations between two major terrorist attacks occurring when a drill for a terrorist attack occurring. Are you seriously saying you don't find that a odd, at least from a statistical point of view?

Or are you saying that they literally run so many drills that if anything, its more unlikely for an attack to occur on a day that wasn't having a drill?
    >> Anonymous 11/07/11(Mon)07:53 No.234792
    >>234733
well clearly its not a secret anymore, because a drill is planned to go off, and somewhere in the world something is going to happen, clearly those things are connected and you guys figured it out.

I'm saying that, NORAD and other agencies have drills all the time.. this attack happened on the same date that a drill was taking place, if the attacked happened the next day, conspiracy nuts would say "see they had this drill and the next day it took place!" or a month or 2 months or whatever.. you have a predisposed position on who is behind it and what you think happened that day.. there is nothing I can say or do to change your opinion on that.

That would explain it, yes. People, Anon. People are the nail in the hand of Christ, as it is said in my country.

In any such system, what you would see would -not- be ten million individuals making votes based off of their individual enlightened self interest, pardon me.

What you would see would be demagogues, movements religious and secular, and generally any group that can spark that little tribal synapse in the monkey's brain sweeping up the votes of millions of people at a time, convincing them to vote in certain ways, often quite contrary to their own interests.

What you would get would be tribes bending each other to their will through weight of population. Consider the tribe itself to be "in charge", if you will, or perhaps someone will rise to the top of it. Doesn't matter much, it's the same thing.

I'm not saying it would be prefet but it would certainly be better than now. Right now people are offered choices but can't effectviely create the choices for themselves.

In most models of direct democracy I've studied eveybody is guaranteed personal rights that can not be infringed. It wouldn't be prefect but i think it would produce better outcomes than the current system.

"The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the "agentur" of the "Illuminati" between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion…We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view. This manifestation will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time."

speculators wanted them to intervene, but the government said "fuck you, this bubble was created in a state of mental incapacity, so if you have problems call a doctor, not the government"

In what has got to be the ultimate case of dumping, pharmacies at Publix Supermarkets in Florida are still giving away certain prescription drugs. Evidently, this has been going on for some time.

Quick, call the Commerce Department. Publix is obviously trying to put locally-owned pharmacies out of business. Then Publix will start charging to fill these prescriptions. Soon the price will be so high that the poor will suffer. The Commerce Department will then have to intervene with price controls to ensure that the poor can get cheap drugs. We can stop this cycle now if anti-dumping duties are simply imposed on Publix today.
