You lack any sort of reading comprehension. The Judge said they weren't used to drinking and got drunk quickly off it. They were unaware of how much they had to drink. If you are a British judge, you get hundreds of this sort of case a year with underage or inexperienced drinkers having far too much and causing trouble. Simple fact of the case and not your interpritation of "HURR THE JUDGE IS A SOFTY"

On top of that, they plead out and admitted it on their first offence for which the Judge gave them a long Suspended sentence and warned they were going to be put under severe supervision.

The Judge gave them a pretty harsh time for a first offence. But then that's what you get when you have a system that believes in rehabilitation and second chances instead of punishment.
