Which of these children would you rather have? Which would you least want?

    1. Popular, star of the local sports team, but not good enough to make a career out of it. Very shallow interests and not intelligent to succeed in college. Has many friends and typically has a girlfriend. Very hardworking and you have a healthy relationship with them. Regurgitates the same political beliefs that you have instilled in them.

    2. A shut in child with very few (if any) friends. Spends all day in his room watching anime. Intelligent but has no motivation to do anything but watch anime. Does satisfactory in college only to keep you pacified so you don't bother him in his room. Very socially awkward. You rarely talk to your child and he has no interest in developing a deep relationship with you. Has no interest in politics.

    3. A child that has friends, is relatively smart, but only really cares about smoking weed. Constantly under performs and has never shown the dedication to finish something from start to last. Your child shares your interests and you can have an intelligent conversation with them. Will lie to your face to keep you from hassling him about anything. His political opinions change rapidly and are not very well researched.

    4. A child that is incredibly smart, handsome and successful, but despises you. Extremely rebellious. Shares no interests with you and goes out of his way to sour the relationship between you. Any conversation with him has a good chance of ending in a shouting match. Makes your home life terrible. Disobeys everything you say and has no respect for you. Has the complete opposite political beliefs as you.

Conservatives want #1, Liberals kinda go for #3 and lower-income/non-affluent have #2 or #4.

    >not want
(I want a child that can think for himself with logic and understand of the world around him. Why would I want this faggot?)

    >2
    >Ok with
I'd be satisfied with this to some degree. Only downside is that he's a weeaboo, something he'll outgrow. Besides, this - weeaboo = me.

    >3
    >Probably want less than 2

    >4
    >Don't want
Horrible life to live as an old person on the verge of death with no offspring to help you out.

    Speak for yourself, pal. I'd take 2, 3, and 4 over 1.

    O RLY?

Eh, with good parenting you can fix 2 and 3, but you cannot fix 1 or 4.

You can't make one smarter. You can't make 4 less of an asshole. Probably 4 the least. Probably 2 the most. I could go for 2 or 3, but 2 seems like more a fun challenge of my parenting prowess.

I'm number 2 and if I ever had a child I would want them to be a number 2 as well

    2. I actually don't want any kids and this one would be the easiest one to casey anthony and leave in the woods somewhere.
    >> Anonymous 11/27/11(Sun)07:03 No.442154
The child who actually sits down and learns what he/she needs to be financially successful and independent, and set for life. Friends and a social life come second.
    >> Anonymous 11/27/11(Sun)07:03 No.442158
I love them all no matter what.

    5. A child with a few close friends. Spends free time in his room watching anime, playing video games. Intelligent, hates sports, and is somewhat socially awkward. You sometimes talk to your child about him, but he is uninterested in you beyond what little common ground you share. Extremely rebellious and has some anger issues. Heavy interest in politics or in becoming a politician. Core political beliefs the same as yours but many variables will be found. Lies to avoid conflict with others, but loves to debate. Likely to be moderately successful, and is likely to return kindness when your old.
