I was wondering what exactly I said that I wouldn't have said if I were (*cough, I actually was, dickweed) in the military.
The
life of a US soldier, to me and to the rest of the world, is worth
considerably less than the civilians they are killing because they are
the ones committing the crime. And let's remember, nobody who committed
the crime of breaking in, tying up, and blowing away unarmed civilians
was ever punished.
You can't get me to say that I believe
reporting a crime to those who will listen is in any way tantamount to
committing the crime itself.
And, for the record, the STATE
DEPARTMENT (the organization that has everything to gain and nothing to
lose by saying Manning's actions killed a soldier) has stated that there
have been no deaths as a result of Manning's actions.
You lose.
And
for the record, I don't give two tugs of a dead dog's cock how many
military members get killed because of Manning's actions. They are
there, in a criminal invasion, as part of a criminal force, all
VOLUNTEER, which means they are all CRIMINALS.
I have come to
terms with this and have found peace, though I daily seek forgiveness
for ever being a part of such an organization. |
