So when do we get to start choosing our flags on /pol/?
>>
I was wondering this too. moot's probably got more important shit to deal with right now though. Flags are probably pretty low priority.
>>
What about Janitors?
>>
>>153286
Flags are more important.
>>
The trolling probabilities are endless
>>
you dont
Also: its not like /v/ wants vidya flags or anything ;_;
>>
>>153289
i agree those shit threads can be dealt with on another time. we need to fix flags first

Isn't it paradoxical that whole 4chan decries us as cesspit, yet moot gives us so much attention?

It's like moot adding a special gimmick for /mlp/.
>>

...like the option to chose your own cutie mark.

Brb killing myself for knowing what a cutie mark is.
>>
If /pol/ gets to choose their own flags then can /a/ have their own tiny selectable waifu icons?

I think moot is secretly tsundere for us because we produce so much good OC. The greentext privilege story threads are the funniest thing I've seen on 4chan in a long time.

Also we hardly ever bitch about anything on /q/.
>>
>>153442
except for you know, the east aryan threads and bbc spam
>>
>>153423
No godamnit.

that'd be stupid and honestly take long as fuck.

Flags are already here, just throw in anarchy and let people choose their own, if bitches still bitch then bitches will still bitch.
>>
>>153356
C-can w-we have f-flags ;_;
please respond

We're the core user base of 4chan; these liberals and marxists are newcomers, not really welcome here but shitting up the site nonetheless. And they may hate /pol/, but moot isn't part of "they".

He may be a jew, but he's our jew.

You haven't been here for a long time, huh?
I've been here - including the shithole that is /b/ - since 2005. If anything, /b/ and a good deal of the rest of the userbase of 4chan was between semi-anarchist to full-on anarchist at times. This site used to fucking HATE socially conservatards with a passion. /b/'s racism, misogyny, etc. were all BS, satire, shock humour, part of the "nothing is sacred, everything is game" mindset that was common here then. Corporate-cocksuckers, religious leaders and Far-Right imbecile politicians were considered the lowest of low among mankind.
But then, around 2009~2010, shit started to change - especially after the Wikileaks case and, later, when politicians worldwide "suddenly" were all about net censorship: slowly but surely, /b/tards started getting manipulated into attacking only targets that represented what the Far-Right didn't like (while giving Big Media all the "sad stories" it needed to side the monkeytards of the general public with laws/treaties that defended their interests). And more and more newfags started taking /b/'s BS more and more seriously.
Finally, seeing this, stormfaggots and similar monkeys started flooding /b/ with their uncreative, unfunny, repetitive liquid shit, some other 16 year old mentally handicapped children and foreveralone manchildren thought this was "SO edgy, SO controversial, SO kewlz", and the board assumed its new form, neo-/b/: Christian Far-Right HQ 2.0 - though neo/b/tards still think they are "doin' it for teh luz", instead of doing the dirty work of fascistoids worldwide for FREE, while fucking their own dumb selves up the ass in the process. And that's where /pol/ came from.

...

So, while this site may be full of shiteaters like you right now, do NOT make the mistake of thinking it was always like this, that the majority of us are like you or that shit will just go on and on like that forever: Moot deleted /new/ because of stormfaggotry. Racism and xenophobia are against the global rules outside of /b/, and the only reason these rules aren't being that enforced, is that there are (yet) too few moderators and janitors to deal with WAY too much shitposting, rule-breaking and law-breaking material.
Do you really believe that in the current political climate of "let's censor everything internet while finding excuses to get public support", of TPP trying to criminalize HOSTING or even WATCHING illegal/copyright-breaking material, your shit would get unpunished for long? Do you really think that the staff is willing to get this site shut down to protect a bunch of nazifaggots like yourself?
Your day is coming, asshole. It's just around the corner.

In short, FUCK YOU and do not ever pretend to speak for the majority of us again.

>If anything, /b/ and a good deal of the rest of the userbase of 4chan was between semi-anarchist to full-on anarchist at times.
We have many anarchists on /pol/. You obviously don't browse it on any kind of regular basis, which is typical of people who make the claim that it's nothing but neo-Nazis and "stormfags".

>Christian Far-Right HQ 2.0
>Christian
Yeah, you definitely don't go to /pol/.

>though neo/b/tards still think they are "doin' it for teh luz"
Protip: The vast majority of /pol/ is moderate liberals and moderate conservatives trolling the fuck out of each other and themselves, with some interesting discussion on the side. That we rustle outsider jimmies so thoroughly shows we're better at being /b/ than /b/ ever was.

>Moot deleted /new/ because of stormfaggotry.
Moot deleted /new/ because it had ceased to be a news board. Just like he deleted /r9k/ because it had ceased to be "/b/ with more OC". That he created /pol/ and specifically told former /new/smen they were welcome there, pretty much invalidates the point you're trying to make. There's no reason he had to do that.

>Racism and xenophobia are against the global rules outside of /b/
Everyone knows the global rules are in sore need of an update. A mod also said to someone else bitching about /pol/ that "we're not going to ban people for their opinions."

>Do you really think that the staff is willing to get this site shut down to protect a bunch of nazifaggots like yourself?
I don't expect or want the site to get shut down fighting for us, but that's never going to be a possibility. Free speech laws are still strong in the US. Piracy/copyright infringement has always been at the very least, a gray quasi-legal area.
