being lower-middle class I'd say is a "comfortable" lifestyle for a
single person. you contribute, but you don't take too much, and you have
enough to live off of on your own without worrying too much about debt.
you basically have all the basics of living covered, if you live in a
cheaper area of your country. the job you work probably isn't too
demanding (thus your adequate pay), so you probably have enough time
(weekends) for your hobbies, friends, and any sort of experimentation in
your life. the only "problem" is that saving up money, starting a
family, or donating substantial amounts of money to any worthy cause
becomes a long term investment (money wise). it only works if there are
many people just like this, all cooperating together. this of course
would be a utopia, where the spectrum of rich to poor is much smaller
and we all have the same opportunities available to us. |
