Depends on the airport, and where you are taking photos. Most airline personnel just assume that you are a pervert, and most security personnel just assume that you are a terrorist.

And in the case of the OP, they'd be right.

No, it's not prohibited on airlines but it's best to ask anyway as a manner of courtesy.

As a matter of fact, when I was on my trip to the UK in 2006, they actually posed for me when I pointed my camera at them before I exited the airplane to the international arrivals area of Heathrow airport in London.

OP, i think you are disillusioned. the era of sexy flight stewardesses is over. that was the 60's.
    >> Anonymous 04/10/10(Sat)01:33 No.767151
OP. if you want to take pictures of flight attendants the best place to go to watch what bus they go to for the hotel.

For example at SJC (San Jose International) there is a waiting area where the bus will come and pick them up and either take them to the parking area or hotel. You can see a lot of them there.

It also depends on what country you are in. in the United States you have to have an actual ticket to get past the entrance area. So you can wait around the baggage claim area or outside.

Just be warned that you WILL be under surveillance and that if you look out of place (ie taking pictures) they will assume you are a terrorist.

I don't think you want to go to Club Gitmo.

So if you still feel the need to take pictures of flight attendants then go to one of the major hotels close to the airport. For example the Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, etc.

    Have fun.

(personally I think you might be better off taking pictures of Hooters Waitresses. No worries there about Homeland Security giving you a cock sandwich for lunch.
