the only right way to organize your photos is
harddrive:\photos\year\month\date. it's easy to do by hand, too. i did
20,000 photos in about an hour, and that's with figuring out the whole
workflow on the fly. you can do it in half the time by:
1)
Create your year folders. Go into one, create a month for every date.
Copy and paste the empty folders from one year into the others.
2)
Go into a month folder. Create 31 folders for every day. (if you're a
windows fag, alt - f - w - f in rapid succession is your best friend.)
Copy and paste them into every month folder for every year.
3) Go into a big fucking folder of photos. Go into details view. Sort by Date Picture Taken. Get to it. |
