It was an ok camera.
The shit thing about it was the xD card, fucking expensive and hard to find.

I had just a 16mb card, so in travels I had to shoot at 1024x768 if I wanted a decent number of pictures.

Sony Mavica. Really it was my grandma's, but I used it all summer. Then I got a rebel 2000 35mm camera, and didn't use digital until I met my wife who had a Fuji finepix a330. My first camera I bought was a Sony w220. When it broke, I got a g11, then an Xsi, then a t2i, t3i and finally a t4i all under warranty exchanges at best buy.

Paid $600 for this shit back in 2003.
The image quality was very nice - for the time period at least - and CF cards were so much better than SM/MS faggotry, but man, it was the most excruciatingly slow camera I've ever used.

I think it was one of the cameras in this picture. I'm having trouble remembering what model it was, all I can remember is that it was a Kodak and had 1.3 megapickles and was fuckhuge for a p&s. I really wish I could find a photo I took with it, I think they all got lost on old hard drives, never to be seen again.

After that, I had a canon a520. Then I decided to ditch digital altogether and shoot 35mm, and then eventually 4x5.

In 1996, my 6th grade class took a field trip to Washing DC. One of the moms had a very early consumer digital camera. I don't think we saw a damn thing as we toured around the city. We were all huddled behind her watching the magic unfold on the shitty lcd screen.

I knew then that we were living in the fucking future.

A Cybershot DSC-H1 - a bridge camera with 12x optical zoom. Contrast based autofocusing slow as hell in longer focal lenghs, and no usable manual focus, but loved it back in 2006.

It wasn't my first, though. I had a handspring visor (palm pilot clone) with a VGA camera attachment. It was crap, of course.

First ... Casio QV-10A. 320x240, held about 62 shots. Serial port. TV out!! And the camera rotated about 270° ... kinda cool.

Next was a Sony DSC-P52. 3mp, 2x optical zoom. Bought it at Walmart shortly after I moved out.

That quit working, went camera-less for a couple of weeks, till I got my DSC-H2. It's a few years old now, not the best camera by today's standards but it's still my primary dirt-bike camera. Taken some really kickass shots with it (pic related).

Then came the D90.

Next, I'm kinda looking for something featured like the H2, but in a little more compact package. Don't need a super-long zoom either, in fact I'd rather it go wider than long. Something I can throw in the pack on the motorcycle but still has P/A/S/M and takes decent shots, but not so expensive i'm gonna cry too hard if I wreck and bust it.

Had one of these. Only internal memory for about 72 shots or 45 seconds of video. I think it had 8mb of internal memory. No LCD review screen, just something that told you what mode or how many shots you had left. I don't think it was even a megapixel.
