  • Attention extension/user script/archive developers: 4chan's new HTML will be going live tomorrow, Sunday the 13th, at approximately 12:00PM ET. Please have your new versions ready to roll by then.

Attention everyone else: GET READY FOR EXCITEMENT!! On Sunday we'll be rolling out our new imageboard HTML/CSS. Everything has been rewritten from the ground up and replaces code that is nearly a decade old. The designs will be 100% the same, but this should allow us and other developers to more easily modify and create add-ons for 4chan. Large threads should also render more quickly, and we also have a new mobile view for those on mobile phones. And a few other goodies.

We expect the migration to be pretty painless, but expect some wonkiness tomorrow afternoon. The Official 4chan Chrome Extension will be updated immediately, and has a bunch of new features and runs 3x faster than the old one, so be sure to grab that in advance.

Speaking of bags, I just happen to be looking for one. Anyone here have any experience with Billingham's?

How do you like yours, OP? Is that a Hadley Pro?

I just can't decide between the Hadley Small and the Hadley Pro. I want to carry my NEX-5n, about 3 small lenses, a Kindle, my PS Vita and perhaps a book/iPad. And I want it to be my walk-around bag, like one to carry it with me everywhere.

    Any thoughts?

Was trying to decide between buying: a) a good sized bag for carrying camera stuff + extra eg books / a laptop or b) a bag as small as possible for carrying just my camera stuff.

Went for b) and bought this for about £10 new on ebay. Easily fits my nex + lens, olympus xa, a couple rolls of film, small shit like lens pen, cleaning cloth, extra memory card. Also fits keys, wallet, phone. Will probably also fit another lens for my nex if i buy one.
Its not a padded camera bag, but it works just like one for a tenner.

Quite frustrating that the only nice (stylin') canvas camera bags seem to be expensive shit like domke or billingham. So yeah, this bag is fine for me. cba posting all my stuff so heres some innernet pictures.

Back in the day, I used to think so. Now? Not so much.

Now in my bag I just carry: Leica M6, Voigtlander 35/1.4, Canon 580EXII w/ sync cable, several rolls of either Kodak Portra 400 or Fuji Neopan 400, a cleaning cloth, iPad (on some days) and a bottle of water. I actually find that having multiple lenses with me clouds my judgement. I start thinking "oh man, wish I had the other lens attached so I could take this photo" and I'd spend more time changing lenses throughout the day than getting the photos I wanted on the streets.

i usually take one camera, one lens and the smaller possible bag. If i need more things i put it in the laptop bag in the back. My tripot fits there as well. Formerly i used the nikon bag where i put either two spare lenses or one flash. Now i use it only with that big 14mm samyang.
Mfw: i always have at least one camera with myself everywhere.

It's called not having a bag that is $10. Bag ergonomics counts for a lot.

This is why I get so consternated when /p/eople spend thousands on gear but then scoff at any given $200 carrier.
