I think this is a good distance between you and your subjects.

I like your use of geometry when you shoot from farther away, but I don't like it when you include people in them.

These are a good balance between subject/environment. How do you feel about the space you give people in your photos? How do you feel more comfortable?

Now you just need to be lucky enough to capture something interesting.
