Can /p/ recommend me a good camera for everyday use? I'm not looking for anything too fancy(expensive), I just need something decent to carry around because I don't even have a camera phone.

depends what you're looking for, but personally, if I was looking for a camera for happy snaps I would buy one of the mirrorless cameras like the Sony NEX series, the Olympus [whatever they're called] or the Nikon 1
