    depends what you're looking for, but personally, if I was looking for a camera for happy snaps I would buy one of the mirrorless cameras like the Sony NEX series, the Olympus [whatever they're called] or the Nikon 1

    if you got it for $36.76 that's an okay price.

    You'll need to buy an SD/SDHC memory card (2Gb-4Gb at Staples for $10?) and I recommend set of 4-AA Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries with charger ($20) Download the owners manual from Nikon's web site and read it.
