The couple likes how the shots turned out but wanted more in a better surrounding so I am going to do another shoot with them in a week. I would also like some tips in shooting in an autumn kind of theme that would look good for them. Thanks in advance guys

It's OK. The green's in the background just look so drab it's somewhat depressing.

    >>1399837
Nope. The 2 tree's don't do anything for this photo.

    >>1399838
Don't really get what this is doing here. Nope.

    >>1399839
Awkward angle and posing gives the guy a weird mega-chin. She also looks like she's 13 years old in this photo.

    >>1399841
This is alright. Weird ass cropping though, 1000x505???

    >>1399842
Should have filled the frame with the subjects, colors in the background look way too drab.

If you're going to be taking these kind of photos, I highly recommend getting a prime lens, perhaps the 50mm f/1.8

As much as /p/ hates borkeh, non-photographers eat that shit up.

We're all 21-22, they're both my friends. Not pedo.
    >>1399870
Alright thanks, I just the green would make the subject stand out more.
and I resized everything to 1000 pixels just to post on here.

It wasn't so much the resolution that bothered me, but the ratio of the resolution.

    wrong crop ruins the pic

    >>1399837

I like this one, like the 2 people meet just as a tree sometimes splits

    >>1399838

too easy trick, nothing to see here

    desaturate and it's artistic!

    >>1399842
did you take this by accident or what; bad composition, wrong crop, wrong everything

try to be creative, standards shots are made enough these days. Pic related; something creative

    >>1399870
Oh I forgot to mention the tree picture was just one by itself, it split off into two. I would have gotten all of it from the bottom to the top but the lower area was covered by rusty metal railings
    >>1399889
It wasn't by accident, I had a better shot of the same pose but my friends liked this one the best.

A bit more colour because apparently trying to isolate the subject with the background being one colour isn't preferred

I think you should open up a bit more to like 2.8 if you wanna re-do that. do you really need to see that rock and the bushes behind them? Like that anon said get 50mm 1.8. bokeh is pretty and takes literally no effort to create.

just get anything but the 18-55 kit. You can always pick out an amateur if they never bothered to change that horrible lens their camera came with.

I see, I probably could've done that better if I just shot it in an open field with the same pose. Yeah, I guess I'll be picking up a 50mm f/1.8 lens sometime this week.
