OK, I know this isn't /vid/, but I think you guys probably know about frames per second.

In this video, I like the effect of how his arm and lips are moving like they are sped up but they really aren't, I have a feeling it has to do with frames per second, would anyone have an idea to what he did in this?

Also, here is a clip from Everybody Hates Chris, they always do this same thing when where are action scenes or other stuff like this. It may be easier to see what I am trying to achieve in this video.

Here is probably the best example I can give you of what I am talking about.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nuSwheTsgg

At the start of the video, it looks really choppy and smooth at the same time. I think it is probably a lower frame rate, but what frame rate is it at? 10? 15? 20? 24?

    HALP!

    4chan really does need a /vid/.
Ok first off, the first vid isnt speed up. Frame rate is normal so its probably either 30fps or 24fps. He i just a really fast talker/rapper, look at his other vids.

I really don't know what your talking about, but the second video is just a lot of fast cuts and maybe a higher shutter speed.

Finally the MGM video, i think what you're talking about is editing. The video is cut together very fast. There is no frame rate change, again probably shooting at either 30fps or 24fps. But it's just editing.
