I spent the day sorting through and re-reading a few thousand e-mails from 2010, and it was really a blast from the past. What a year it was.
Thanks for an awesome 9 years, and for some great e-mails along the way.

As always, I read all of my e-mail and can be reached with questions/comments/concerns/hate mail/and plain ol' hellos at moot@4chan.org (or on AIM at MOOTCHAT).
tl;dr version of 2010: "SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, and VIRUSES: The Movie"

No such thing.
>>
Become an F1 driver. It's never too late, OP.
>>
Any Delivery Driver position. which usually pays shit.
I got lucky when I worked for Napa. My boss was super awesome, and also a fellow homo (I'm a gay, she's a super dike, once styraight married, then turned to the dark side). On top of that, I worked in the town i was born in, which I love (New England port town), and everyone at the shops was pretty chill. made plenty of friendships with the shop guys.
Pay was still shit, but eh. Had fun times. Also saw some pretty awesome cars at the shops. Lambos, Ferrari's, DeLoreans, old Muscle cars (Charge, Challenger, Coronet SuperBee, Hemi Cuda, etc).

this

or just wait some time till your recent Drive experience will fade

also, you don't need to actually have a job involving driving if you just want to answer "I drive" when someone ask about your job. Lie like a mofo
>>
>>7599089
nah i just genuinely enjoy driving and would like to have a job doing something i enjoy
>>
>>7599104
Van driver. I've done it, and once I got used to the large size of the van, and the sometimes tight quarters that I was driving in, it was actually quite fun.

Shit, do what I do, be a cop, Get paid to drive around...just pick a proper city... I did NOT do that... Or do what I used to do, deliver pizzas man. Pay isn't excellent, but you can swing a living working at the right pizza joint from tips.
>>
>>7599113
What city would that be?
Just so I'll know never to come there, just the thought of someone from /o/ being a cop is fucking scary, especially after reading these anal pain general threads that are here now, and seeing what Americans actually believe.

That bit about doing pizza deliveries is good advice though, if you can find a place that has their own car for deliveries.
>>
>>7599113
may i ask why there are rubber bands around your grip? also, why a revolver?
>>
Courier drivers usually drive hatchbacks or transit vans. You could do something like that.
>>
>>7599122
Ill just say a major city in the Midwest. Stuck here now, too much time in to transfer. I can get a full retirement in 11 years. so fuck it.
>>
>>7599113
What is the point of a wallet, that holds cards and money, if you have a money clip that also holds cards and money?
>>
>>7599131
inb4 badge, bullshit.
>>
>>7599131
Badge wallet sir
>>
>>7599131
It's the badge on on side, then the dept id card and all the other stupid cards they make you carry, shooting certs, pr.24 certs, city drivers license.
>>
>>7599125
.38 is my off duty gun, rubberband just give me better grip.

that's funny because it is too late. There's a very short window that you need to take advantage of, to have any potential for F1. You pretty much need to be born into a well-off family with a niche for racing, or at least a heavy professional racing background since your childhood.

I know this is just a joke thread, but really, if you can show people you have enough talent and get them to support/fund you, rallying would be an easy way into the racing profession.

Copfag here again: I also valeted for a while. That's actually a grind though. Running back and forth and dealing with impatient assholes. BUT, just like pizza delivery, if you get in at the right place, the tips are awesome.

be a taxi driver just get a nice new S class merc and wait at the airport in a super nice suit and jacket with ur driving gloves and make sure ur taxi service logo is on the car, tons of people will approach you needing rides throughout any nearby cities also have a lot of business cards
>>
>>7599850
You need a permit to drive a taxi, and they're usually insanely expensive.
>>
>>7599860
I don't know how it works elsewhere, but around here I think there's some kind of test before you can get that permit. I've heard it at least covers memorising where certain streets are, which is dumbshit retardedly stupid since there hasn't been a taxi driver around for years who didn't have a GPS navigator.
>>
>>7599081
Ah, superbee.
>>

>im wondering if theres any jobs out there that involve driving?

Race stock cars for NASCAR.
>>
>>7599896
That might just be to get a cab license or something. I'm talking about to actually operate a taxi...you need to be registered as a taxi company and the permits and stuff to do that are hundreds of thousands of dollars. That's why not everybody does it.

i used to work as a taxi driver as a part time job during hard days

don't do this. i worked at night so all the time some weird and suspicious looking aggressive people and high and drunks and avoiding to pay

you can drive a van with simple license so get your ass to work as a van driver. driving them is fun and job is waaaaaaaaaay better than taxi drivers. maybe if you're a driver in germany/austria/switzerland it is different but other west of europe (sry if you're american but i doubt america is different) is a bad place to be a taxi driver especially at night shifts
>>
>>7599860
Or he could just do it. He can take his decals off when the taxi police come by.
>>
Don't taxi.
Get livery service plates.
Put burner cell number on windows.
Call for a ride and just drive around.
You can't get hailed but they can call you and "book" rides.
No taxi rules and you can charge what you want.
>>
>>7599939

Like a limo driver.
>>
>>7599964
Do strip clubs in the states offer a service where they'll pick you up and take you back home in a limo? If so, OP could get in touch with a strip club and see if he can't start doing that.
