I actually bought this car off my best friends dad(who is a doctor). He added the TRD spoiler, rims, and SSIII splitters. Overall paid $3000 US dollars for the car( Wouldn't mention US, but there are very few all tracs in the US. I'm even more super jealous if you're in the US.) I've put 10k on it and havn't replaced anything 167k. That sucks man I bet you'll love it when you drive it. It has the legendary 3sgte engine man. How much was that bad boy? Only thing I hate about mine is it's automatic>:(
>>
>>7139004

I'm in Canada, 6th gen (ST205) GT-Fours weren't imported to north america so you can't actually get registed them in the US (it's possible but a complete waste of time). As you could probably guess by the right hand drive wheel mine came from Japan. Cost about $6500~ total with 75000 kms (40k miles I think) on it. I've driven it a few times but yeah, can't afford to right now.

And automatic gives you an excuse to swap in a 3S-GTE and 5spd in the future (or a 3S-GE BEAMS which is a surprisingly easy swap) lol. Or you could always get an older All-trac (ST165/ST185 both sold in the US), they're hard to find but they're out there. If you ever go that route you could probably afford an ST165 for around $3k and they're better than ST185s anyway.

6gc.net has a lot of info on non-alltrac 6th gens, there are a number of ricer fucks but some people who know what they're doing, you should check it out. I lurk Alltrac.net too but don't post on either site.

A friend of mine who works in a car shop said he'd do the manual swap for me for free. All I have to do is pay for parts and buy him a 24 pack of beer. I was planning on an engine swap like you said, a 3sgte or BEAMS engine. I plan on doing more once I land my EMT/Paramedic job, but I'll have to live with it until then. I live in Ohio and saw a 5th gen all trac that was non riced. Good luck on getting it registered. Kudos to you for being patient it'd kill me to wait to drive it. Fast and good looking imports.

Yeah it sucks but I don't really have any choice but to deal with it lol. Shouldn't have spent so much goddamn money on alcohol last year. Oops.

Your bud sounds like a good guy if he'll do the swap for beer. If you can you should stick around while it's happening and learn some stuff, the n/a Celicas are supposedly pretty easy to work on. The alltracs have a mess of an engine bay in comparison.. designed for miniscule asian hands, it's terrible.

Anyway good luck with the car, anon.

Thanks anon I was actually planning on learning a thing or two. And good luck to you as well. On a random note, you seem to have the Kouki tail lights that were on the SSIII. I really want those as well as the Kouki Projectors, but they're expensive.
>>
>>7139065

they're stock facelift ST205 tails (there were 3 "generations" of st205, '94, '95-'96, '97-'99)

I could be mistaken but I think that in order to swap them into a convertible you need to change some other stuff. JDM Toyota Curren tail lights will swap straight over though, but they're pretty much the stock USDM vert tails with a clear stripe on the bottom.

Fair enough. It's a shame there aren't any real Overdrive Auto options for Aussie Mopars other then outside company units.

I'm still think the only outsourced box that should be put in an early Val is either a Toploader or a powerglide (although the venerable 727 more or less makes the 'Glide redundant), depending on whether it's street or strip focused.

Still pining for a four linked, double wishboned , toploader, sprintcar powered first generation Falcon.
>>
>>7139543
4linking the Charger actually (Yeah, still on leafs)

Our transmission options are shit for Aussie mopar, half the reason I went the Turbo 700 option (plus they are so abundant and replaceable + cheap, it's easy as fuck to have one)

I'd like a DANA diff for it as well, but can't justify the half-a-million to buy one.
>>
>>7139547
Especially over here. DANAs seam to be priced their weight in gold in Ausfagland. At one stage I was contemplating a D60 rear end for my Landcruiser, but you could buy a whole junker GQ Patrol and strip both diffs for the price of a bare D60.

That's a thought, retro fit a GQ rear diff in your Charger! A 10.5" rear end would take a beating.

That's true. There's a reason as to why the 9" has been used countless times in performance applications.
I just had a thought about an old friend's dad's E37 VH done up as an E49 replica. 400hp, 48mm webered, overbored 265. I remember being 13 years old, in the back of a Charger, while his father demonstrated to us how a Liberty geared, B&M shifted Toploader was effective for clutchless gearchanges. That thing was a friggin' monster, and went harder than any atmo six had any right to.

Hell yeah. It'd make for a decent budget DD so long as it's reliable enough in the future, being an 80's derived Mazda (or any 80's Japanese econobax for that matter), it should be. Just keep the oil and water up to it if it uses any.

Just kidding, I took them off that same night. They were put on because the leather seats underneath were pretty beat up. I don't notice the tears or anything in the seats while riding, though they're quite large, so it's mostly just a visual issue.

AOD conversion
SBF conversion
T04 conversion
LPG conversion
Fitted later model borgy rear diff to match the OD a bit better (3.25:1), and above all left it looking stock. Spun up about 200kw@4,000rpms at the wheels, on low boost.
Needs valve springs (or alloy heads if I win the lottery) MSD (pretty much standard ignition system, desperately needs boost retard) and a few bits and pieces. Not bad for something comprised pretty much entirely from ebay crap and an arc welder. I'm away from home most of the year, so it'll be good to do some more work on it over the summer (Aussie here)
Pic related, not mine, but identical.

Also 64 XM Falcon wagon.

I was going to say. I had a few of those parts on my old nitrous 5.0. Sounds like you have a pretty sweet setup you have. How much boost are you running?? Got any numbers??
>>
>>7140396
I peak at 5psi right now. The "SN" series of paxtons are only good for about 8psi (with the HO impeller) without doing the scroll upgrade.

I don't have any recent numbers or times- the last time on the dyno was before a couple changes (including the Paxton).

Fuck sakes OP.
that's a fair amount of money spent on the 5.0 to get 213rwkw.

It would chomp a standard ls1 off the line though with the stall and gears.

Have you done a 1/4 mile?
>>
>>7142355
Considering
A couple of posts under the xr6t has basic mods and makes nearly 300rwkw. Would drive a lot nicer to.
