Quite a few Vettes got great times on that chart, too. Beat Lambo and Ferrari. Hooray for cheap American power that performs better than expensive Italian sports cars.

Also, let's do something a little different. Here's a blank torque curve. Feel free to draw in
    (A) what you know your engine puts out
    (B) what you imagine your engine puts out
    (C) what it feels like your engine puts out
    or
    (D) post a dyno sheet for your car (factory or other.)

Also, people with torquey engines, feel free to extend the graph upwards.

People with hondas, feel free to extend the graph to the right.

    Dear god.
The revised IS F suspension and rear LSD for 2011 and later models knocks 8.6 seconds off the lap time if I'm understanding this right.

It appears the cars below the line are able to inch out more performance through suspension and braking than cars above the line.

Also dodge viper is faster than british go karts

Cars along the line should be viewed as average in terms of suspension performance whereas cars above the line should be viewed as subpar handlers.

The plotted line is the relationship between weight hp and lap times. Other variables that would affect the times such as aerodynamics, braking performance, and handling arent accounted for. The vehicles above the plotted line perform worse than average for their hp/weight ratio which means those vehicles performed worse in those variables not accounted for on the graph.

Its a scatter plot the line is an average of all of the individual points on the graph recorded. This is simple middle school shit. Thus any point recorded to the top left can be described as "worse than average" and any point recorded at the bottom right can be described as "better than average". The graphed line essentially eliminates any hp or weight advantage these vehicles might have.

stop this right now. 3.0L V6 Automatic Avalons/Camrys have exactly no torks, the only thing they are kind of okay at is staying reliable.

    and for the torque
I certainly feel like my avalon has some torque
and I have been with her for ~4 years
I know it doesnt have Tons of torque but its got enough to get up n go

Definitely beats my v12 jag in the get up and go section.
