Note that both Parker and Stone are Libertarians and they often speak at Libertarian conventions. It's not coincidence that any episode that makes a political point tends to go with the conservative point of view, instead of Republican or Democrat.

Actually, I find it refreshing. And they're the only long-running comedy on TV that didn't turn into eight years of Bush bashing. Can always watch Colbert Report (it comes on right before South Park IIRC) if I want to see midnless right-bashing.
