Which news show anchors/hosts do you enjoy watching? Whether it's for the political views, the entertainment value, or just the cringeworthiness

WE MUST CONSTANTLY YELL OUR VIEWS BECAUSE MY HEARING AID'S BATTERY RAN OUT!

For me? Rachel Maddow, a perfect mix between news pundent and reporter. Also, she can interview people with strongly opposing viewpoints and doesn't resort to insults or shouting and just uses the facts to hold their feet to the fire. Doesn't happen much around here

Glen Beck for the sheer hilarity. The lefties go crazy after hearing him speak. Even if I dont' always agree with him, he also makes a few points I agree with.

So entertainment + news/views I can get on board with.

and yes, I am aware he is portraying a "character" to get ratings.

Pretty much anything on FOX is great. During the afternoon they have phenomenal looking women reading off the news, then at night they switch over to Beck and O'Reilly. All liberals have is that butch dyke on MSNBC and Chris Matthews.

Wow, you really do have low expectations. First off you watch TV to get the news, then you justify watching the painfully bias network Fox "News" by posting a picture of what looks like kind of OK MILFs, then you cite Beck and O'Reilly as other reasons to watch it for more than one minute (infact all afternoon), despite Beck being A FUCKING MORMON (OMFG HAHAHAHA!) and O'Reilly being a senile and embittered old coot who doesn't know who his enemy is.

Why not just go outside and talk to the birds? They'll give you more informed opinions on what has been going on in the world today.
    >> Anonymous 01/30/10(Sat)16:58 No.54803
Al Jazeera english. Almost all the reporters are BBC alums and it's a good place to get an alternate framing of USian news events.

    I watch Fox.

I'll switch to MSNBC sometimes to laugh at Olbermann, Ed, Chris, or Maddow.

Sometimes CNN on election nights to see the percentages.

This. Rachel Maddow is great to watch, but I find that if I'm not interested in the issue at hand the show is very boring. That's the price you pay for intelligent reporting I suppose.

i don't watch FOX because it's such a blatant tool for conservatives. it's basically propaganda with the way they conduct their programming. i sometimes watch CNN or MSNBC, but honestly it's not that often.

i don't watch local news because they're more concerned about trying to scare the shit out of you to get higher ratings than actually putting out good reporting.

i get most of my news from the net.

Local tv news sucks. They most air stores of crimes, fires, and accidents, and the latest celebrity cockup. I suggest getting a newspaper, they're a dying breed and they all the support they get.
