    23 KB Frustration Anonymous 04/05/10(Mon)10:20 No.539994
Nothing will ever get done until the average Americans gets angry and stands up together to go to Washington and show them we won't take any more shit from them. We no longer elect politicians to pass policies that we want, we now elect them to get bribes and kickbacks from special interest groups who set the real policies. The sooner that everyone wakes up and realizes we're just pawns in a rigged game we can finally organize and get rid of all the bullshit in our government. Now I'm not saying out right revolution, more of an enema of the top houses of government. Look how long it took these people just to pass health care reform. How can we worry about making things better for everyone if we can't even guarantee the right to healthy living. How can I pursue happiness if I can't even get my self check out and fixed up when I have an infection or broken leg or something. The 20 biggest corporations have made well over 5 trillion in profit last year and together maybe paid about 20 billion in income taxes. If we started taxing these bastard accordingly like you and I get taxed then we would have more than enough money to get everyone permanent health care and a college education. Imagine a country where we're all guaranteed health care and a college education, the standard of living in this country would rise a 10000 times. We're fucked until we actually do something. We keep perpetuating this miyth that who we elect matters, they don't. Once in a while you get one who really wants to do the right things and change things, but as soon as they get elected they get bogged down in the bullshit of American politics. When will everyone realize that we're all fucked until we all get up and decide to fuck the politicians right back.

    You never did.
You never had any sort of organized from the bottom up party, with communities formulating their polices and electing one of their own to go represent it. You know that might be considered Socialist.
You don't want to be like Bolivia or Venezuela do you?

I mean the informed people, not the assholes who get all their opinions from Fox News. There is no longer any room for intelligent and informed debate, it's simply the right person is the one who yells the loudest. And the Teapartiers are trying to get full blown revolution, I just think we need some change, I don't want armed groups of rabbling fucktards roaming the streets, stringing up anyone with a college degree like these assholes believe.

Sorry bro, since the Supreme Court ruled that corporations can legally spend as much money as they want in campaign donations, your voice will never be heard. Money talks, not posters

At this point it's not even about political parties, it's just about whats good for the people. And corporations can't truly be considered people until they can be jailed or executed for the crimes they commit. I wonder how much that judgement cost.

Or, they will just move off-shore.
    Well thought out plan there.

dumbass, create tax law reforms that make it illegal for companies to do business in the USA unless they pay the taxes due by any other American corporation. Also companies importing from outside the US can be charged tariffs especially to make up for the tax deficit.

What the OP is basically saying that we need to get off our asses and actually do something. Even if it means running for political office to get rid of our incompetent representatives.

In 10-20 years, most of the current members of Congress will be long dead and some new ideas can fucking take root.
