i think they need to do more hands on teaching. No more of this teacher said this or the book said this. Show them that when you have 10 and divide them into 2 that each group has 5, give them marbles blocks to use keep them interested; thats how we learned to divide at my elementary and the teachers made sure to give each kid the help they need; which is another issue in itself 20 boys in the same room with 15 girls doens't work to keep the boys attention long enough so they can learn.

2 year colleges help to get a job quickly where you can likely learn more than you would in school, as far as worthwhile knowledge for actually doing something with your life.

I've known mathematicians that spend years in college just to end up teaching inner city highschool courses until they became so disenfranchised by the the bullshit involved that they just took any sort of bullshit job they could in an office to get away from it.

The problem was and is the women rights movement which rightfully empowered women to the same level as men. But they didn't think further than their own selfishness. Because what it did give men the incentive to actually treat women equally to other men. If women are as strong and powerful as men that makes men think they don't need to care for them, support them and protect them anymore. Thus leaving families more often because unlike women men don't feel an inner biological clock ticking telling them to care for their offspring or to produce offspring in the first place. Subconsciously a man's work is done after impregnating a woman in this modern society women created for themselves.

The divorce rates and unstable families will be one of the big problems in the next two decades, if not the biggest problem of all.

What's going to happen pretty soon is a harsher punishment for men leaving women. The current one of 50% of everything they owned + payments for the child until it's 18 is way too good for men. They're leaving the whole situation with a job, a proper education and are still in the momentum of working towards goals they might have in life.
