  • Kimmo Alm aka "Sysop" from AnT has been spamming us for YEARS now, and has recently stepped it up. This shit has got to fucking stop. As promised, here are all of the e-mails he has sent me over the years (and my responses).

We've done all we can do about him. We've banned THOUSANDS of proxies, and deleted OVER A HUNDRED THOUSAND spam posts. His attacks continue though, and we've reached the limit of what we can do.

53 KB ACORN's Maryland chapter is shuttered Anonymous 03/16/10(Tue)09:39 No.350498
A former leader of Maryland's ACORN chapter said Monday the group will no longer operate in the state, doomed by an embarrassing national scandal six months ago from which the organization never recovered.

Sonja Merchant-Jones, former co-chairwoman of the state chapter of ACORN and a board member since 1999, said there are no plans in Maryland to rebrand under a different name, a move undertaken Monday by several ACORN affiliates across the country.

Maryland ACORN ceased operations late last year, Merchant-Jones said, and all the offices in the state have closed. The group has not held a board meeting in Maryland since November, she added.

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now came under scrutiny in September, when videos recorded in Baltimore showed workers counseling two conservative activists pretending to be a pimp and prostitute. Two staff members of the Baltimore office were fired because of the video, which was broadcast on major networks throughout the country and showed the employees giving tax-evading tips to the man and a scantily dressed female partner.

Before we get to the trolling, this is a prime example of an organization that did a lot of good losing sight of what was truly important. Now, a lot of people will suffer the loss of this group that was actually helpful in a lot of ways and all because people got greedy and stupid. It's not a liberal thing nor just a black thing. All kinds of these "community organizations" get off track and then piss it all away.

That being said, I shed no tears for ACORN. I hope that the whole organization shuts down and that those who misappropriated funds and broke election laws all go to jail and get a cellmate named Meat.

Here's the problem, there was no evidence of misappropriation of funds or breaking election laws. The video you saw made by a conservative activist was a hoax. This has already been proven.

It was national news just last week.
There were threads about the "expose'" being exposed as a fraud right here on /new/.
