Actually this is more so the Federal Reserve's fault than the president's. I consider the Fed chairman more powerful than the president at this point.

The bubble started during when Greenspan was Fed chairman, then blew up when Bernanke took chairmanship.

    Obama is doing fine.

His detractors simultaneously complain that he "hasn't done anything" and that he's doing too much and turning America into SCARY SOCIALISM.

Neither of these is true, I think he's done well, but the country is in a shitty situation regardless of who we elected. If Mccain had won liberals would be pointing the finger at him just like conservatives are doing with Obama.

But I'm confident that we made the right choice.

He has done things, but many negative things, expanding the war in Afghanistan for instance. And I wouldn't call him a socialist, but rather a statist, since he obviously believes that the state should care for all of us from cradle to grave.

It's not that he hasn't done enough, it's that what he's doing doesn't help the problems he was elected to fix. He knows that, especially in regards to the economy, because that's what he wants. Liberals want the economy to be bad, because then they can blame Bush and Wall St. and capitalism, and push in greater taxes and more stifling regulation.

I am sick of Obama's shit.

He hasn't done anything but create corrupt as fuck mondo bills loaded with pork and tried to cram them up the ass of an unwilling American public like some kind of fucking date rapist.

Everything Republicans said about him looks like it's coming true. He is inexperienced, he lets foreign leaders walk all over him, he doesn't know how to deal, he's soft on terrorism, and he is obsessed with complete bullshit instead of the hard economic recovery America needs.

The most insulting part is, it's been a year, with him in full control with a supermajority in what was supposed to be "the most ethical Congress ever" and he didn't do shit, and every single time he appears to speak to the American people he casually slides in a Bush bash like Bush is voodoo fucking with him from beyond the presidency.

BUSH IS NOT THE PRESIDENT ANYMORE, NIGGA. YOU ARE.

part-time increases during deep downturns in the economy/job market because former full timers take whatever they can find, and part-time goes up.

Also, businesses prefer filling part time positions over full time, because part timers don't get the full benefits packages and coverage that full time employees get. That makes the part timers cheaper to the business.

When the labor market is thin, they want to hire people full time, to secure their labor for an extended time.
