  • Since I've been on a Q&A kick in /a/ and /r9k/ recently, I've decided to set up a formspring account for publicly answering 4chan related questions. You'll find it linked in the navbar as "?", and located here: formspring.me/4chan. Also, if you use Twitter, please follow @4chan. As always, I can be contacted via e-mail at moot@4chan.org (Despite the common misconception, I check it frequently and read every message I receive. Nobody seems to e-mail me about anything other than being banned though ;_;)
EDIT: Site went down due to a hardware issue. Should be fixed now.

50 KB Keith Olbermann's Emotional Special Comment: 'My Father Asked Me To Kill Him' (VIDEO) Anonymous 02/25/10(Thu)13:25 No.221533
    >>"Last Friday night, my father asked me to kill him."

    >>Keith Olbermann opened his emotional Special Comment on health care Wednesday with the story of his father's six-month-long hospitalization suffering through a colon removal, pneumonia, kidney failure, liver failure, and many infections.

    >>After a particularly difficult week, Olbermann said he went into his father's hospital room to find him "thrashing his head back and forth" and mouthing the word "Help."

    >>"It was just too much for my father," Olbermann said. "'Stop this,' he mouths. 'Stop, stop, stop.'"

    >>Olbermann said he resorted to gallows humor, asking his father, "What, you want me to smother you with a pillow?" And his father responded, mouthing, "Yes, kill me."

call any wreth on earth your father, then you will only perpetuate the same perversions he resulted to in his chance of life.

Call no man on earth your Father, for one is your father in Heaven.

And what about all the other people who have relatives in the same situation as Olbermann's father and DON'T have millions? What do they do?

Have you ever had a loved one with a prolonged care illness? Do you know what people in that kind of situation face? I was on the edge of it with my mother. She was facing lengthy, debilitating care that threatened to drain away every last cent she owned and take the savings of her children. The only reason we didn't have to face it was because she died.

So shut the fuck up, you selfish little asswipe!

How is ANY of a dying man's pain the fault of insurance companies?

His father is in pain because he's dying. He's getting health care to try to make it better. He's not being tossed out the door and refused care due to lack of insurance, or anything like that.

Olbermann's rant is unrelated to the topic of universal healthcare.
