    So /new/,
where do you stand on medical use and legalization?? Don't hold back!
    >> Anonymous 02/23/10(Tue)17:22 No.209538
medical use is a crock of shit, but it should totally be legal for personal use.

Medical use should be totally legal, it is PROVEN that it can help hundreds of illnesses in its natural form, if it's "medical use is a crock of shit" why does Marinol exist?

    >I believe in the decriminalization of it
It's decriminalized here where I live (Canberra, Australia... the capital of Australia lol), that just keeps it unregulated still and continues to pump money into the hands of drug cartels, Marijuana needs to be totally legal, but regulated, the last thing I want is my money being handed over to fucktard drug dealers.

this is flamoot. it's 2010 and i have a brain implant because i use drugs. i know how this sounds. but stories of going schizo from hallucinogens are only myths

lsd and shrooms etc are as mind opening as the rumours say, but it is a big secret because the government is performing crowd-control on the people who know about them. on the number of psychedelic users in society... they can only handle so many of those kinds of people. but psychedelic users are mostly young and hip and feel things deeply and are thus perfect victims for the very evil.

Legalize, for both medical and recreational usage.

There is one bad semi-long term side effect of pot, in that it decreases the amount of dopamine your brain produces naturally if you are a habitual user, which can result in depression and being somewhat more of a dumbass. Stop using it for a month and this goes away. Also lung damage, but probably not to the extent that cigarettes do.

Now, compare this to alcohol, where you can do permanent brain damage, get alcohol poisoning, and destroy your liver far more quickly than pot destroys your lungs. Which one is legal again?

No drugs should be illegal; in fact, nothing should be illegal. That's my philosophy as an anarchist.

From a practical standpoint, herb is a fantastically wonderful drug that is better than tobacco in every way imaginable. It's healthier, it doesn't fucking kill you, and damn it, it's actually fun and not shit. Medicine....whatever. I highly doubt that pot will go to pot if it's legalized. There are ways for people to grow their own and get the good stuff out there while still dealing with the higher prices of keeping is secret. Whether or not the store shit is actually good remains to be seen, but the underground market will rule even more once they don't have to dodge the coppers.

Legalize weed and be done with it. I don't care if people oppose weed legalization because it's dangerous, if they don't like it don't use it.

Obama should be pushing for this federally, because if at least weed is legalized the economy will truly start to recover.

I don't even think life can be debated as "good" or "bad", it's just life. We evolved specifically to survive[live] and reproduce, consciousness is a result.

What's wrong with saying that? It's a valid argument even though without it we could just fly away.... and then die...

Anything could be debated as 'good' or 'bad' no matter what. saying something can't be is just a bad excuse.
