carp will eat itself to death shortly. It needs a lot of food just to
survive, and has largely expanded its population by devouring other
fish. Once their populations can no longer sustain it, it will die off
and they'll return. Natural selection in action.
That said, the
lakes need some serious cleanup and I'm glad to see some effort going
towards decontaminating the watershed. |
