But, my personal philosophy has always been that there's a common ground to be met with almost everyone, and I thoroughly enjoy the planes of thought where we do agree. I understand that Hitler is a polarizing figure but I don't view him as being the penultimate symbol of evil. Also, when you zoom out of the atrocities he committed, the long run benefits have been highly beneficial to a large number of people. I'm not simply talking about the scientific and medical breakthroughs that his team sparked, but also immeasurable socio-economic benefits. War time enables greater production, and the corresponding influx of females into the workforce arguably fed the seeds of feminism.
