>>1665550 Along with the pressure thing before the relief wells are drilled, I guess the second cap had to be designed, fabricated, tested, shipped to port, shipped to scene of the spill, lowered down a mile, its a fair bit of work in the month or so since the last cap failed to seal. I dunno if they have these caps pre-fabricated and stored somewhere for events like this or wether they had to make them especially, I dunno. |
