Ok the situation vis a vis war with North Korea and the United States.

Much is commonly known about US war doctrine. Your battles are shown on the news, troops keep facebooks, generals feel free to speak their mind. We know what's up there.

Fact about North Korea on the other hand are:

They manufacture their own weapons and sell overseas. They make their own tanks and their own submarines. Their tanks are designed to outdrive and out manuever an Abrhams tank flat out. They are built for rugged hilly terrain.

So on to the submarines and troop morale. How do they correlate? A NK sub was caught in fishing nets off the coast of SK after picking up two commando spies after a mission. The sub was forced to surface. What ensued is a testiment to NK troop morale and tenacity. Every crew member committed suicide except for the two spies who exfiltrated to the mainland of South Korea where they were hunted for over 50 days by thousands of South Koreans. By the time they were killed they had terrorized the counteryside and killed around 100 pursuind soldiers. Not civilians, but soldiers.

Now moving on to the terrain the US garrison on the DMZ will be over run inside of three hours and nothing in the world will change that fact. It's our little canary in the Coal mine.
