It makes sense to assign clinton some responsibility for what happened to the economy after the bubble burst.
It makes sense to assign bush some responsibility for what happened to the economy (during and) after his presidency ended.

It does NOT make any fucking sense to say that Obama is responsible for the recession, seeing as it started before he even announced his fucking candidacy for president. If you want to say that you think the recession would have been over sooner if McCain had won or something, you'd be wrong but at least COHERENT.
