Here is another example of Newcastle's world-class public transport - Quay Link buses - They are hydrogen powered, cheap, extremely roomy / comfortable and the engines make a barely audible low humming noise. The hydrogen coming out the other end doesn't smell the nicest when you're right behind mind, it's like a horrible swimming pool, chlorine smell.
