some
years back car gas MPG requirements were raised so much that larger
cars were mostly discontinued.... light trucks were exempt from the
"car" fuel economy requirements, and light trucks still had lots of
interior room. so that's what THE PUBLIC started buying. a large
percentage of the popluation does not want to be stuck with trying to
live with a tiny car. (me for one)
besides, anyone driving a
larger vehicle is already penalized, in that they pay more costs
directly anyway,,,, why should you give a fuck what kinda car other
people drive? it's somebody else spending their money on what they want. |
