  • Kimmo Alm aka "Sysop" from AnT has been spamming us for YEARS now, and has recently stepped it up. This shit has got to fucking stop.
    As promised, here are all of the e-mails he has sent me over the years (and my responses).
    ↑ UPDATED March 16th! ↑
    One of Kimmo's ex-moderators posted hundreds of PMs. They are absolutely hilarious/terrifying.

    These pictures make me sad. I don't like seeing machinery in a state of disrepair. Anyone else feel the same?

    Yes, me too. It makes me feel as if looking at a poor little kitty abandoned on the street hungry and cold in a rainy winter. ;_;
    Makes me want to go and restore them all to their original mechanical glory. <3

    I agree with you two. My brain tells me that it is either obsolete or will cost more than it's worth to repair. My heart tells me "Is this anyway to treat a fine machine that has given a lifetime of service?"

    I actually took that picture from the train.

    But if you want to go walking in the woods, go and look for abandoned mines or other industrial relics. There's almost always some rusting scrap lying around. I remember surveying a hillside near Dalmellington and there was an abandoned drift mine with a few rusting old tubs and bits of rail lying outside.The mineshaft was half filled-in, so you couldn't get inside (which in any case would be dangerous and is not recommended).
