>>143261Just passing through, saw this...>Detecting large amounts of fail on this board. Train dump in 3I wonder whether OP realises the depths of irony in starting off with a Connex train...
vline looks worse. inb4 derail
>>143448If V-Line fails it's because something went wrong. If Connex fails it's because you tried to use their services. Or Global Warming, or deforestation, or the falling value of the dollar, somebody breathed, the cake wasn't moist enough and came out a bit dry and crumbly, you tried to use the heater, dryer, kettle and hot water service at the same time, you've not paid a bill on time, somebody else hasn't paid a bill on time, it''s humid outside, etc. It's never something that should have gone wrong in the first place.
>>143429frankston is the bomb like tick, tick
>>143451Connex sounds like the Dutch Railways (NS) then!

>>143958thats not a hitachi, this is a hitachi
>>143969>thats not a hitachi, this is a hitachiIt is a very early model Hitachi (1972-1975 series)"As delivered, Hitachi trains were composed of three types of carriage, M (motor carriages including a driver's cabin at one end), T (trailer carriages with no motors), and D (a trailer carriage with a small driver's cabin). These cars were arranged in sets of M-T-T-M and M-D, which could be arranged together to create a six car set. All but one of the #68 D carriages produced were later converted into T carriages. The first M and D carriages delivered were provided with nose doors at the front of the cab. These were later removed from the early carriages, and the feature was omitted from later sets."http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitachi_(Australian_train)

Need my /n/iagaras
>>144020>lookin' pretty Erie there, Victorian.Wow, that colour scheme is almost identical. Are those Locos from Erie, Pennsylvania? Because the VR ones were built by Clyde Engineering in New South Wales. Probably based on the US design no doubt.Would be a huge coincidence if VR and ERIE came up with the same design by accident.

A Refurbished Harris trying to swim ...
>>144102Clyde had a license with EMD, which is why the aussie B-units have 16-567's and look like a two-headed US E-unit. I think the aus C-units are mechanically the same as a US SD40-2 too.
>>144103also, no.
