Emo and screamo in mid tier. I'll leave punk in shit tier just because of the lack of 'real' musicianship with the old punk bands. I mean they even revel in the fact that shitty playing is actually a defining factor in punk music. Emo is ranked higher because of better instrumentation and broader subject matter, it's also accessible enough to not alienate most people who doesn't like 'agressive' music.

Indie in god tier, because it is such an expansive genre that covers a whole range of subgenres like shoegaze, twee, singersongwriters, garage rock revival, dream pop, etc. That, and the underlying principle to conform from what the mainstream is doing--makes the genre a respectable one.

Metal in god tier too. Along with classical.

Holy shit, they have new music?

Band apparently doesn't really do live shows. Chick was bending around in ridiculous ways where she shouldn't be able to keep her voice going the same way, and one of the guitarists fell down and all of the music kept going like he hadn't.
