It seems, regretfully, that once visual kei soared to popularity, anyone with a little ability to sing and dress up in feminine attire could become a visual kei band, kinda like electronic music in the USA. It doesn't, however, mean they're all great. I'm sure you and I will get plenty of thumbs down, but it makes me a little annoyed I have to sift through so many mediocre bands to find a good one. Everyone and their grandma has a vis. kei band these days.
