Ehh I got a pair of earbuds half off from this chick I fancied. They're alright when I can't use my regular headphones.

I got a pair of $80 ones and a pair of $30 ones free from Coke Rewards, and I liked them a lot. The $80 ones broken within like 4 months, but they replaced them for free. fuckin' awesome customer service

Their skullcrushers have subwoofers in each ear, and I've never found anything with bass quite like those.

They're not bad for their price range. If you need a decent pair of cheap headphones, you could do worse. Plus they have a good warranty.

I prefer my Zune earphones rather than those. But when it comes to style I prefer the big G.I. Headphones.

OK, look, I am going to level with everyone.

I am a serious audiophile. I own three pairs of ADAM, Genelec and Dynaudio studio monitors that cost $10,000 each. I have Sennheiser HD650 and AKG headphones.

But when I bought Skullcandy, well I have to admit most of my other gear has now been abandoned. These headphones sound lush, they have an unbelievably dynamic sound stage, smooth response and a sexy appearance. You will feel the guitar popping out into territory unknown, the pads will stir your soul with warmth and width. These headphones sound THICK.

So honestly, don't waste money on expensive gear that you don't need. Just buy a pair of skullcandy's. They aren't lying with the name.

I was about to grab a pair of Skullcrushers or GIs for studio and regular listening use (I posted a thread a few nights back concerning this, if anyone saw it). When I got to Best Buy, I saw these nice Sony phones that were only 80.

They are the best fucking fuckers I've ever used. Great shit, and sturdy as fuck, too.

But, in SC's defense, I've had a pair of Inkd's for who-knows-how-long, and they still serve me well.

The worst brand by far is iSkin.

Stay away from these like they are a Chinese knock off iPhone.

Skullcandys for studio use? Anyway AKG K701/K702's are great studio monitors. They have great transparency but really need a good dedicated amp to drive them. The absolute best for dynamic headphones however would have to be the Senn HD800's. Though those are going for around $1500
