FIRST ALBUM IN THE BOOK!
"In
2003, the album was ranked number 100 on Rolling Stone magazine's list
of the 500 greatest albums of all time. The album is also the first
album reviewed in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die by
Robert Dimery. In 2007, Time Magazine selected it as one of The
All-TIME 100 Albums"
Frank Sinatra - In the Wee Small Hours (1955) >Noirish
swing/pop concept album about romantic failure and late-night
loneliness. Arrangements by Nelson Riddle are god-tier, as is the band,
including Bill Miller on piano and Harry "Sweets" Edison on mute
trumpet. Instruments such as celesta and woodwinds lend a lullaby-like
quality to the forlorn material. Sinatra's best torch album, and quite
simply one of the greatest pop albums ever recorded. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2ABBGAQB
