$60.4M
>implying 60mil is a flop
0/10. would not recommend this troll to a friend.
>implying word of mouth isn't going to be the best kind of publicity/advertising for this movie
>>11018651>2 days>already made $60.4MHurr durr.
>>11018657compared to the budget, it was.
Juno got told again. The target for weekend was 60 million and now its been hit.
mr juno, did you not like the movie?
plus the over seas figures are going to be huge
Posting in a troll thread, being intentionally retarded... etc.
>>11018657$300M budgetIt will barely even break $200M domestic lol ...
>>11018693are you a fucking idiot or something? last air bender made a lot less but got to their budget.
>>1101865110/10 you predictions so far WakingJuno?
That's not a bad opening weekend at all.The next IMAX movie is Resident Evil: Afterlife, which isn't until September 10th. The movie is going to be around for a good while, and has plenty of time to make money.
>>11018704the movie only cost 200 million.
>>11018651I'm just going to chill here.
Avatar had $76M after 3 days and you call $60M flop?
why the hate Juno? Ellen Page was in it and you love him.
>>11018727>he doesn't know about december opening
people don't want to go see 2.5 hours of bad dialogue and mindless action scenes ruining what is essentially a pretty good idea.
>>11018704>implying it will only make $60.4M for the rest of its entire existence.>implying in the next few weeks, the total won't be hundreds of millions domestically.>implying it won't make hundreds of millions internationally.
WakingJuno, you seem so certain that it'll be a flop... care to place a bet?
Avatar only reached 30 million its first weekend and got over a billion by the end.
>>11018748>mindless action scenesYeah, because the hotel hallway fight scene wasn't the greatest fight scene of 2010.
deserves less, carbon copy of movies that did better in what the same convetion they were trying to explainfuck this stupid shit
>>11018748There weren't even that many fight scenes you are a bad troll and they were hardly mindless.
>>11018772Oh, yeah, that was pretty great. But the other ninety minutes of gunfights were spectacularly boring.
>>11018805The movie wasn't about the fighting you missed the point by far.
>>11018771Come again? http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=weekend&id=avatar.htm
>>11018821Agreed. That's what made all the fucking fighting so disappointing. The first hour or so was great (too much talking, not enough showing, but whatever), but it quickly descended into typical action schlock.
>>11018786deserves less, carbon copy of movies that did better in what the same convetion they were trying to explain>did better in what the same convetion they were trying to explain>in what the same convetion they were trying to explain>in what the same convetionWat?
WakingJuno calls every movie after Avatar that doesn't have that monkey/nigger chick in it a flop. It's pretty hilarious
ugh, not this kind of thread again.generally, take the TOTAL american box-office gross and then multiply by 3.5 to get a rough CONSERVATIVE guesstimate of what it'll eventually make.so, it'll make at least half a billion. even with an insane advertising budget everyone involved will make a fucking fortune.

>>11018918>generally, take the TOTAL american box-office gross and then multiply by 3.5 to get a rough CONSERVATIVE guesstimate of what it'll eventually make.Like The Dark Knight?
HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRThe film cost $160 million to make. It's not going to take very much to make a profit.
