bronies are not the fandom at large. bronies are a specific part of the fandom just like trekkies are a specific part of the trek fandom.

They're dull.

They get upset about porn and clop in ways that make one suspect they have something to hide.

They don't meaningfully discuss the show.

They only seem to create original content in the course of role-playing.

They're a pretty diverse bunch, with a lot of different backgrounds -- so, fortunately, some or all of the above doesn't apply to every single one of them.

A large crowd of loud, obnoxious people who think watching a little girls show can be used to identify who they are.
I mean the fact that entire conventions exist, MULTIPLE conventions around the world, dedicated to the adult fans of a little girls show... it's concerning to say the least; no other cartoon seems to garner the same amount of obsession.
If the people in the fandom were a little more... reserved with their conviction... then I may sleep easier at night.

I think I'm pretty exciting. I hang out with my friends, go see movies, and I like going to the tattoo shop when I have extra cash or a pay bonus.
